  1. Unlike categories such as Fax or Text, here there's only one option, so I shouldn't have to click on Voicemail only to expose the only option of "All Voicemail." Waste of steps = waste of time. One button would do the trick.

  2. I'm trying to find out if there's a way for me to save additional pre-set status for my team and I, that are more applicable to our work flow? within the ring central app, each team member/user has the ability to change their status (such as working remotely, on vacation, out of office, etc)
    I would like to be able to add (and SAVE) our own custom status that couled be more applicable to our work and work flow

  3. Answer phone calls with a keyboard shortcut (hotkey) when using the Ring Central App for desktops. Scrambling with the mouse to click on the answer button when receiving a phone call seems. The RC phone app has this feature, why wasn't it added to the ring central app?

  4. ... phone number.. When I'm on my laptop I'd like to use RC as my communication hub. Having the ability to text someone that is familliar with my cell number (non-RC) is important. The text back and forth should show on my Androic phone and in ring central.

  5. All users in our office use Polycom phones. When we dial each others extensions, the phones ring and must be picked up by the person receiving the call. With other systems I've used, it is answered automatically by speaker so the receiving person doesn't have to actually pick up the handset.

  8. We are a Pharmacy and send many texts that are time critical to our patients.If we get a # that is not sms enabled (older folks/landlines) it can impact their health. Currently we cannot determine if the patient received the communication.

  10. We have our Polycom IP6000 conference phones set up as limited extensions but in some sites we'd like them to be able to take incoming calls 24 hours a day. Can only do this if the device is associated to a user and set up as such. Would like the ability to change open hours for a limited extension device.

  11. In the old RC app, we were able to remove company contacts ourselves. Now we have to ask Support to do it, which may take 5-7 days, and in the meantime the contact being removed can still see our interactions!

  12. On RC Classic: When you open a task to edit it, you are able to click and hold a corner button that allows expansion of the field. This feature does not exist in the new app. Why it's useful: When you have a lot more information to add to a task than just a few sentences, it becomes tedious to have to scroll through the tiny window to see what I've been typing.

  13. the new app doesnt show caller id. the new app is to wide . the old app was about 3.5 inches wide so i could leave it up and monitor all my calls.

  14. We have an equal amount of users with voicemail only extensions as we do DID users. Having the ability to bulk add these users would greatly improve the performance of adding these users to the RC system.

  18. By default, the user line is listed on each line (4 times for an 4 line phone, for example). The workaround is to add presence for a line 3rd line, which the end user may not need, to remove the extra lines. This makes the phone screen very busy when and is not a good user experience when most users only need one line.The layout can be made much cleaner by logging into the Web UI as Admin and navigate to Utilities -> Line Key Configuration.   20. I have realtors and customers. I would like to put realtors in a group (that is not on the same feed) so when I need to send text messages. Realtors are in their own group and customers in another.
