  2. So it would be nice to have an option where you can make a generic key template and have the user save that template so that it could be used when a new phone gets added or a new user gets hired and the IT guy doesn't have to add each extension 1 at a time. For a big company that is growing and hiring this can be a very daunting task!

  3. A feature allowing other employees/managers to see when a user has their phone on DND. This would allow us to keep track of employees during there work hours and also a way for employees to know when someone is unavailable.

  4. Hi,We are a UK company with stores mostly in industrial parks. The emergency address locations are not always 100% accurate. The system will change the address to what it thinks is correct.Our TAM has advised that there is nothing that can be done to fix this as RC use a third party named Smarty and it is likely a data quality issue for them.See support cases 15936174 & 16168116 as examples. We have stopped raising these now.

  5. We have 14 ring Central numbers and when we added one a year ago the assumption was that it would have all the same features as the ones already existing numbers for our company. Come to find out the number did not have texting as an option because of where that number is being sourced from. Now our only option is to get a new number. This is not an easy solution for us as the existing number is tied to patients, pharmacies, insurers, other DR.s etc. so changing the number is not a solution. My suggestion is that when…

  7. 98% of my outbound calls do not connect or have no audio when using my Android App. If a client calls me it works great. For someone who works out of the office, this is very frustrating and unprofessional. This has been an ongoing issue for over a year and needs to be addressed asap. If this is not corrected, our company will need to find another program to use.

  8. We would like to have the HUD active for some users at all times. The real issue is that the pop up for the HUD has to be opened each day, we would like to have the HUD pop up open automatically for the users if possible.

  13. In the current state Call Delegates are not able to access/respond to SMS messages. The solution from technical support was that the user should share their RC login with their delegate. This is an obviously unacceptable solution and also not possible in our case where SSO is implemented. It is incoherent to encourage sign-on security and immediately undercut that so that a delegate can support another user account.

  14. So whenever someone calls, if that phone numbers call history (or text history) would appear whenever they call. So if they call today and again tomorrow we'd know what contact had been made, who had talked to them, or texted them, etc

  15. Create a visual flag or error when a role is created with the same format and title name as an already existing role. Perhaps erroring with 'Error; role group name already exists, please rename'Purpose is to help clients avoid a scenario where they accidentally create a similar role with different settings, but name it the same - causing confusion if users in the same role group have a different user experience.

  16. Hello. I am trying to determine how to create an auto reply to incoming text messages such as “not authorized” and to email my official email address instead of texting informally. I do not want to completely disable incoming text messages because some carriers do not let their users know that the text message they were attempting to send did not go through. I just want the ability to auto reply with instructions on which email address to formally send correspondence because I do not authorize correspondence via text messages.

As some businesses may use the RC App and RCV for training and teaching at a particular group location (ie conference room) it would be beneficial to have a feature to allow a direct casting feature to external screens, monitors, projectors, or TVs. Casting from the Google Chrome browser still has a lot of delay and lower resolution. Even to a Google Chromecast or Amazon Firestick to a monitor or TV that does not have built in smart software.   18. Can we get the RingCentral app to allow individual users to download their own Direct Messages based on the conversation? Currently only those with appropriate rights and download the DMs but its all of the DMs. This change will allow a user to export a conversation and present it to HR or their manager if there is something questionable going on and maintain a level of privacy that is expected in cases where HR might need to be contact IE harassment.

  20. Add a feature where you can use the app while also using a desk phone. Background: We came from Mitel, where the app worked with the physical phone. So, if you were on your physical desk phone and you also had the desktop app open, the app would show your active call, and you were allowed to click actions on the app such as transfer a call directly to someone's voicemail by clicking 2 things, then you would hang up your physical phone.
