  1. Hi. Our customer is suggesting that we should have an option to disable/enable the call waiting in our RingCentral application. This is specific for direct calls. So if a user is already engaged on the call, we can disable the call waiting to prevent another call to be connected to the user who is already engaged, and the call should be connected to the call queue or third party number. We can imagine that call waiting may be kinda annoying to some users as their app will be ringing while already on a call.

  3. have contacted support and was informed that in the IVR menu the only option we have to repeat the menu is set only to the # and * keypress, we would like to designate this to a number keypress which is not available currently in the option

  4. As of now once the email to fax is turned ON then customer won't be able to receive faxes via fax machine. Hope there would be an option to receive faxes both via email and fax machine simultaneously

  5. Some of our users only use a portion of the external shared contacts directory that we have applied for all the users (different departments use different contacts.) They would like to be able to add from the external shared contacts directory to their personal quick contacts .

  9. It would be great if we could customise how the sync presence between Microsoft teams and Ringcentral works. At the moment you are locked into a state whereby anything other than 'Do Not Disturb' in Microsoft teams still allows incoming calls to reach your extension number in Ringcentral. I believe it would be nice to customise how the different states in Teams change the states in Ringcentral. For example, setting it so that a busy state in Microsoft teams also changes the Ringcentral state to 'do not disturb'.

  10. Neither the Automator (beta) or the RingEX APIs allow you to respond to an incoming SMS message using the recipient's phone number unless the automation or application is running as that user. Sending a confirmation of an opt-out request (STOP) from a different phone number is confusing to the customer and doesn't leave any clues in the user's SMS history. The response should come from the user's phone number and there is no easy way to set that up.

    Also, there should be opt-out tracking within RingEX so that if a user attempts to text a customer who has previously…

  11. When the customer is in the "Contacts" Menu and selects ALL, it shows every single account in their AD environment. The customer wants an option in the app to only show the users as part of the Company Contacts.

  12. Wanted to set up an option or permission that no one outside their office network or VPN that can login to the RingCentral desktop application. No one can use their home network if someone is using a home network or outside their office network.
    It should only allow the users to login within their office network only.

  16. Auto dial a list of phone numbers uploaded on their admin portal. Auto dial the number uploaded and if the client didn't answer the call the auto dialer will call the next phone number.

    The feature request entails enhancing the RingCentral system to allow the addition of a special number to incoming caller IDs. Currently, certain carriers in the US and Canada do not support the ability to display a special number in the caller ID when receiving calls.
