  1. Right now, the incoming call information settings on user extension is not working for faxes. It still shows the caller ID name. Customer would like to have the option of not displaying the caller ID name of the sender as the system sometimes has the outdated caller ID name for the sender's number.

  4. Have a tiered license for just a phone sitting on a desk that isn't assigned to a specific user. For example, a "hotel" desk, where anyone can come in and use the deskphone, but it's not priced on the same tier as a "Ring EX User" License, that has the capability to use the app and it's features. As we have a 100+ deskphone's throughout our organization that are just phones that any user can use, but they don't use the app or any of it's features (waste of money).

  5. This relates to the “Draft for me” feature in the RingCentral app and the current lack of an option to remove, disable, or hide it. Some users have indicated that this feature does not align with their workflow and prefer not to use automated drafting tools. However, the feature remains visible and available within the app, with no apparent settings at the user, extension, or account level to control its behavior.

    We would like to request to remove/hide or delete this feature in the RingCentral App.

  6. Please restore the single column view in the HUD. This update has basically ruined the HUD's usability for me. Now I can't see who's calling in the HUD without stetching the window across the whole screen. No user asked for you to remove functionality like this. Hard to believe you'd roll this out and not expect complaints.

  9. Current Scenario:
    User has configured a schedule for their extension to send calls to voicemail after business hours. When an internal user calls them, their call goes to voicemail.

    Solution:
    Add the ability to only apply the schedule to external callers, and allow the user to be reached by internal callers.

  12. Our goal is to separate the higher-ups and the standard users. We do not want the certain users to have the ability to message the higher-ups directly. Currently, direct messaging can only be disabled account-wide.

  14. Currently, Poly phones require users to manually type in a contact name to access the Corporate Directory. This process can be time-consuming, especially for organizations with large directories. There is no option to browse or scroll through the Corporate Directory directly from the phone.

    Provide functionality on Poly phones to browse the Corporate Directory, similar to how mobile or desktop RingCentral apps allow scrolling through contacts.

  16. Currently when a user receives a call, the user monitoring the call only sees the caller ID name and not the phone number displayed in the HUD.

    We would like to propose a feature to allow both the caller ID name and the phone number to be displayed in the HUD when monitoring calls. This would give users more complete caller information at a glance, which could improve monitoring efficiency and usability.

  18. When a Call Queue is configured to display Caller Name and/or Caller ID, the RingCentral app does not clearly show the caller’s phone number during an active queued call. Instead, the display prioritizes the caller name, which makes it difficult or impossible for agents to see the actual calling number.
    Ideally, the phone number should always be displayed alongside the caller name, similar to how direct inbound calls behave. This is especially important for:

    Verifying repeat callers

    Identifying spam or known numbers

    Supporting call handling workflows that rely on phone number visibility

  20. Currently, RC's HFS timer for outbound faxing, remote fax machine response time/timeout is 32 seconds. In the event a recipient fax machine takes longer than 32 seconds to respond with fax tones, our system will timeout/terminate the session. It will then retry twice, each with another 32 second timeout period, resulting in 96 (or more) seconds of "system resource usage" time.

    If we increased the HFS timeout to even just 40 seconds, allowing some additional time for remote fax machines to answer, we would have a higher success rate of outbound faxes and overall reduction of system resource usage time…
