Audit Trail Enhancements
This idea is a combination of other ideas around improving RingCentral's RingEX Audit Trail feature.
Improve logging for all items that are added, moved, changed or amended within the Admin Portal.
As there are so many great ideas and suggestions for Audit Trail enhancements, we've merged them into one record to better track these feature requests. Your individual idea has not been lost, and our development team knows how important this part of the system is for everyone! We'll provide more updates when available. Thank you!

Requested enhancement to the audit trail. Normally when you change the call recording options for an extension, the change gets tied to the company profile, not the user. If you were to filter the audit trail to just those entries that are related to the extension in question, the change to the recording option would not show up. however, if you search for the extension number in the general search field it does show. Our client is looking for the change to the recording setting to show when searching in the first condition to create a more detailed log of user activity.

Since there are a lot of changes logged in the audit trail, past changes logged are getting overridden by new changes. Submitting this on behalf of the customer so they can still get/access the changes made on the account, even if it is done past 180 days or beyond 10,000 records.

He wants us to have a feature in the audit trail where they can track the location of the person who is trying to attempt to login to their account.

It would be helpful if when a user blocks a number the Audit Trail Change Details shows the blocked number along with "to blocked" wording or something similar. Currently the change detail shows Added +####### to undefined.Thank you

This is to identify who access the call recording, and who played and reviewed it via Audit Trail. For reporting, this will help the customers identify who monitors other users on their account.

Would like to see an audit trail on physical devices. If a user puts a phone into DND, Call Forwarding or makes any changes on the physical phone.

Any changes to a monitoring group need to be captured and reported in the Audit Trail. The Audit Trail should capture if user is being added or removed from Users that can monitor/to be monitored. The identity of the person making the change to the monitoring group should be captured in the Audit Trail as "Change made by".

Audit Trail is a selectable feature in custom user roles, but only becomes available on the Super Admin or Billing Admin Role (per RingCentral documentation).We have custom Site Administrators that would greatly benefit from the Audit Trail feature, but it is currently not available to them even though the custom role has this feature checked.

Audit Trail should include changes made to User Extension's Call Handling "Missed Calls" tab forward to an extension for proper monitoring

IRV menus which are not changed often but when something changes like removed or change it would be nice to be able to track whom made the change or was it some system glitch (which I suspect in my case) that deleted the entries in my main number IRV. I am sure there are other things not listed in audit trail as I see when searching Ideas.

Have the ability to subscribe to the Audit Trail, much like you do for Performance Reports. I have Super Admins that want to periodically receive the Audit Trail to review and would like it automated.

Customer would like the ability to see when a number has been ported in/out and by who. The Audit trail would be a great place as they could see dates, number, and owner.

Looking for a way to make it possible to schedule daily, weekly etc. audit trail reports to be emailed from the rc admin portal. Using certain filters for extensions, departments, etc.
