  1. Old RC would provide sound notifications even if your app was focused. You could be ative in a team, and still receive sound notifications for other teams. Now, you do not get any sound notifications if the app is focused - it NEEDS to be out of focus / not active in order to get sound notifications.

Please add a share option on that where the user can share his file from the RingCentral app to other applications i am using RingCentral for a long time but when i want to send a file from the RingCentral app to other applications like WhatsApp, so I have to download it first and then send it, this application has limited us only to our environment as compared to other applications.

  10. Currently, when a call comes into our main line, the caller ID is shown. This is extremely helpful when receiving a call. However, if the call is received by a receptionist (or the wrong person) and is immediately forwarded to another extention, the original caller ID is lost and replaced by the receptionists extention name/number. The original caller ID is now lost, meaning the name and/or number of the original caller is gone from view. It would be extremely helpfull to keep the original caller ID on a simple transfer.

  11. Please re-enable the playback variable speed feature with the new ring central platform. Previously, you could listen to a meeting at 1x, 1.5x and 2.0x speeds. This is time-saving, when meetings are 2.5 hours long.

  12. right now, you can only block a number to a specific employee extension/number. I would like a feature to do a company wide block of a specific incoming number. Going employee by employee takes too much time. Also, there is no way to block a caller from the main company number.

  14. The pin and password should not be tied together where the admin can't change the user's pin without also resetting their password. An admin should be able to change the pin as a separate action.

  15. Currently in RingCentral Office, you have no way to directly send calls to a dial by name directory without inserting an IVR in the middle. This is extremely frustrating when contact center is on the front end. The caller has the option in Contact Center to transfer to the dial by name directory. They select that option. Then the RCO IVR says to press an option number again to then finally be transferred to the dial by name directory. This is not a great experience for the caller. I would rather see an option like the "message only extension" that…

  16. I think the subject line says it all. Faxing is antiquated and we don't use it. It came with Ring Central and all that I ever get on there is spam. I don't advertise a fax number and don't want it.

Whenever we schedule a meeting using RCV plugin in Outlook on an existing email thread, the invite is being added on the thread, however, it is placed at the bottom of the thread instead of the top. This causes issues because although the recipients can see the link they are not able to see the other invite details right away like the dial-in number. This issue is not happening when scheduling a meeting using the RCM plugin in Outlook. When we use RCM plugin and schedule a meeting the invite is already on top of the email thread.

My customer uses a 7 digit ticketing number system for their IT department helpdesk and when Ticket numbers are being sent via Message in our Unified app, the ticket numbers are getting converted to Phone number call hyperlinks. This is an issue as they want to prevent our app from converting 7 digits to launch a phone call as they want to be able to highlight and copy the number to search in their internal ticket system data base. Can we make it an option to turn off 7 digit auto link to phone numbers or disable all together?
