  1. We encounter a problem where our main extension isn't following the correct call forwarding that was set up on the user extension. Tech rep fixed the issue by recreating the extension itself. The issue is when the newly created extension doesn't have the SMS content that we originally had on the corrupted extension and I found out that there's no way to transfer the SMS from one corrupted extension to the new recreated one other than manually forwarding it.   4. Allow ability to hide old conversations via text or archive them. Google voice has this feature.

    First I hide the messages so I can reply to more pressing issues and free up space but also organize our texts, for example I might have a conversation I cannot reply at this second but I read it, however once more texts start coming in from other customers it gets hidden.

    We need ability to hide but not delete the texts so when they are hidden, then they text again, it appears back on screen and all the old messages are still there…

  5. HI, we have 3 extensions at one location , and if staff calls out , customer will get standard location IVR caller id on there end.

    Same feature should be available on Text / SMS when we are texting outbound from 1 one of the extension but receipts will receive text from location IVR phone number.

  9. Use case: People make mistakes when typing and texting. Feature request: Add an "Unsend" button in RingCentral SMS that will pull a message back into its draft form. The "Unsend" button should be available for ~5 seconds before disappearing.Value to customers: This will make communication easier and more natural for customers, giving them time to revise and update what they say.Competitive: "Unsend" is already widely adopted in email platforms today.   11. We currently cannot quickly text a customer while we are on the phone with that customer while using the desktop program on computer (not the extension). We have to take multiple steps such as: Go to text and create a new text, search their contact, etc. A simple and easy solution to this would be one of 2 options below:Show the Ongoing Call in the calls area, while we are on the call (currently the call only shows after we end the call). However, we need to be able to check their text and message history as it has come to light that he may have been sending confidential information through there.   14. Want to block the unregistered SMS on the account by disabling SMS on unregistered numbers? Since the only option right now is once you block the number of incoming calls, SMS and fax will be blocked but we need only blocking the SMS only

  15. Hopefully, it will be added as one of the features to add the location of the number that was used to send SMS. This is available only in the mobile app. On the mobile app when you tap the number list when sending new SMS beside the number there is a location where the number came.
