  1. As of now, only the Super Admin, while using the RC mobile app, can toggle between their user phone number and the company main number for SMS'ing. We would like to have many non-super admin users (inbound call reps) be able to see and respond to SMS communication on the company main line. This way, the first person available can address the matter in the SMS most quickly.

  2. On the mobile app & on the old web app, I would see a notification if a text message was not able to go out. On the new desktop/browser apps, there is no notification so if I send an SMS there is no way for me to know that the message did not go out. This is a problem because I think that a co-worker / client received my message & they did not receive anything.   6. Some users never setup e-mail or look at txt messages the admins should have the option to be able to clean up these messages. would be also nice to have a sort options to list whom has the most saved or not viewed messages to see what clean up might be needed

  8. Prior to the newest update, when sending a new text, you would type in the number and click 'next' which would bring you to the entire text thread giving you the option to either call or text. This would also allow you to view the entire text thread. With this new update, doing the same function - sending a new text- it now has a pop up to create the text within this pop up window and 'send', NOT giving you the option to click 'next' and take you to the text thread.   11. In the RingCentral Salesforce integration, we can only send SMS messages to contacts. If you add more than one destination phone number, the system sends the message as individual SMS'. Instead, we would like a group message to be created. This is possible in the RC mobile and desktop apps.

  12. any inbound call no matter if answered, gone to voicemail or text, the inbound call should get a automatic text message from your RC number thanking then or whatever message you wish to be sent out to the the inbound caller.

  14. You can already get email notifications for incoming texts, and this is great because it lets you archive that communication the same way you would an email. But unlike standard emails, you only get one side of the conversation, because outgoing text messages cannot be saved like an email. Having the option to receive copies of outgoing texts would let the records be more comprehensive, and would let other employees have a record of the conversation.

  15. Our company has numerous on call managers that our staff contact, primarily through texting. We need a way that an employee can text one Manager Line phone number, and depending on which manager is "on call" (i.e. who is set to available in the ring central app) that manager can receive that incoming text message and then choose to reply to it either from their own softphone extension, or respond as the or Manager Line so that the employee contacting us only interacts with one text line.   16. I just deleted a user who was terminated from our organization today. However, we need to be able to check their text and message history as it has come to light that he may have been sending confidential information through there. I know there is no way for me to recover the information, but is there a way that you can pull messaging history from your database or to recover the user?

  17. Currently there is not a way to grant access to managers/supervisors to the SMS messages their team members send and receive. There is the ability to grant this type of access to user's call logs using User Groups. Would be great if SMS messages could be part of what is imparted with User Group permissions.

  19. Im wondering how I can create a group that receives text messages from our main phone number xxx-xxx-xxxx. Is like this group to be able to see the messages and reply back to the messages. For example if one of our sub contractors sends a picture in to the main number of a job completion the group sees it and can reply to it

  20. not receiving 2 factor authentication via whatsapp, sms not going through and getting an error to try again after an hour,sms not even showing on sms log under admin portal. tried 2fa via call but calls are disconnecting which also shows on our call logs tried other RC numbers but not being recognize as U.S number even though that it is U.S number.
