  5. I'd like to know if there is a link I can access directly to easily find the contact history of a client. This would be a huge support for our workflow.For example:app.ringcentral.com/contact/8183368339would ideally show the texting history, call logs, voicemails of that number....The link should ideally include the number, that way I can create a formula on my spreadsheets to search and open any number with just one click of a link

  6. It would be nice to tag messages as they relate to a specific subject. Then when you need to filter through your messages you can sort by "tag" and find the information you need related to the relevant subject.

  7. Different types of team require different retention periods - for example we have project teams where the retention period will vary by project life and more social teams where we only need a short period. At the moment, all periods have to be set to the longest. I would like this to be a setting controlled on a team by team basis.

  8. The majority of our users use deskphones. To help ensure that all voicemails are attended to in a timely manner it would be helpful if on the RC Portal next to the Msg column if there was a date/time stamp indicating the last time the mailbox was entered. We have several hundred phones and Support's recommendation of accessing each voicemail box is not feasible.

We take a high volume of in-bound calls and would like to utilize auto answer but there are preselected choices of 0s (too fast, phone doesnt ring), 5 seconds, 10 sec, etc. 5s isnt fast enough as the phone will ring 1-2 times before auto answers grabs the call. Having a customizable time would let us know there's a call coming in and then answer it promptly.

  11. When using the dial pad to make an outgoing call, it would be helpful to be able to dial by the data (numerical digits) that is entered into the company name or the title field. In our line of work, the contacts are created using the unit number associated with that person. It's more efficient if we could just enter the unit number (which is entered in the Company field) to see the list of tenant's in the unit and then dial. The old app had the capability to do this and it made it so much easier than having…

  12. Background: Customer asking to add the ability on O@H to use the main company number as the outbound SMS number for all users on the mobile app.

    Problem: Unable to use the main account number as the outbound SMS id if NOT logged in as operator extension.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Login to O@H mobile application using direct extension (not operator)
    2. Compose new SMS

    Actual Behavior: If they are not logged in as operator extension, they can't use the main number as the outbound SMS id.

  14. When an Administrator inputs a certain date for the Data Retention Policy, previous messages stay intact. We would like to see the previous messages prior to the time of entry to no longer be visible. If you click the 'Learn More' link on the UI, it goes to a non-existent link so the product feedback is 'please improve the text' for this feature, there is no indication that the retention policy STARTS from the time of entry.

  18. We have very expensive marketing calls coming in and our agents know they will not receive a marketing call if they are on the phone. Because ring central takes them out of the call que. So they do not use the ring central phone to make their calls because it takes them out of the que. I need them to receive marketing call while they are on the ring central phone.   19. I would like the ability to give different IT admins granular read/write/delete role permissions. For example, I want someone to have the ability to view all phone numbers, but not the ability to delete it or to change it. I want to give someone the permission to view the Auto-Receptionist settings, but not change them. Or the ability to update call queue members but not to delete it.

  20. The RingCentral Phone app will allow login via a message-only extension, but there is no functionality there. Being able to send faxes would be incredibly useful. Especially if your only option to send a fax is using the print driver (only available via the RingCentral Phone app).
