  1. When making and transferring internal calls from the dial pad on the Desktop Application you can't see the users presence status (In a Meeting, On a Call, DND etc.). Being able to see the Users current presence state would improve the user experience.

Currently the exe format of the install seems to have limited command line options and the MSI install is a much larger file. when using tools to remotely push applications to install this becomes a problem. looking for a way (but not limited to) push RC desktop app and have it install for all users not just single user install. also there is a popup window at the end of the install that wants to add the firewall rule need to suppress that prompt and just do it now MSI install has the command line option for allusers=1 but lack…

  4. Today you are required to use the RC app to put all of your devices into DND. Users should be able to press the DND button on the physical endpoint and that status should sync over to the other physical devices or softphones that are assigned to that user. This would make it much easier from an end-user perspective, especially those that don't want to bring up the app to enable DND.

    Hi all, there's a DND Sync on hardphone toggle that may need to be enabled for your account if presence sync is not working as expected. Please contact support for assistance in getting this enabled on your account!

  5. our employees do not answer a phone and it goes as missed call. They want to erase their track so that we don't know if they are answering all phone call so they delete the missed phone log or any other call that they feel its to their benefit. We want to have an option to block deleting phone call logs

  6. Each employee on my staff is on-call for one-week periods. Can you please add time based scheduling that allows one to program a special "call answer rotation group" that can automatically cycle through each member of the group after a user-configurable number of days? It would make it MUCH easier than having to build 52 new rules each year.For example: the call-answer rotation could be set to 7 days, with 3 members of an "on-call" group.   9. Current IVR menus allow 0-9 button to be programmed to send to Voicemail of specified extension. It would be nice for the caller to have the ability to hit the programmed number and transferred to voicemail as an alternative option to waiting. This would allow us to lengthen maximum call time in the group for those who prefer to wait for someone.

  19. To receive messaging, the app needs to run, but it does not need to run in the foreground upon computer login. Please add a setting option to be able to start the program in the tray area. MS Teams has this option and it is very useful.

    Hello everyone, this is available in app now. Please ensure you are on the latest version of the app for this functionality. Change how the RingCentral app launches upon startup in desktop app under Settings - General - Launch app at startup.
