Monthly Automated Fax Logs Report
The Admin is requesting a feature that would allow admins to schedule monthly fax log reports for the previous month and have them automatically sent out. The requested functionality should include the ability to select specific users to be included in the report, rather than generating logs for all users. Additionally, the customer would like the option to filter these reports by Site or Department, which is not currently possible in the Admin Portal. copy the Name of the contact saved on the user's phone to the the recipient.
Activate a feature that allows the name associated with a saved contact to be visible to the person receiving a transferred call. This feature would display the contact's name to the call recipient when the caller is saved in the customer's contacts and has a name assigned to them.

Enable and Disable Call Recording per device
We plan to do call recording for some calls and I know the calls are recorded to the profile of the user that initiates the recording but can that be changed? For example, can we have the default location for it to save to be on a server? Since the calls need ot be saved, we didn't want to rely on someone having to move them manually and possibly forgetting.
Also, is there a way to prevent call recording on the mobile app but allow it on the desktop and hard phone?

When we upload the Shared directory of external contacts in the RingCentral Admin Portal by default, the contacts are showing on the Company tab of the RingCentral app.

Nuisance caller re-direct
To combat nuisance callers, we have found that utilising the call blocking feature on the Super Admin account to not be the best method. When these rules are applied, it is very obvious to the nuisance caller that they have been blocked, therefore can simply change the number that they are calling from to circumvent this.
What we have found to be a lot more beneficial is to configure custom rules which re-directs certain caller IDs to a call queue which isn't manned. This then gives the appearance to the nuisance caller that they are waiting in legitimate queue, reducing…

Different Call Status for missed Out of Hours calls
There should be a different status/call result for calls missed during a working day and calls missed outside of working hours.
We run an 8am - 5pm technical support service, and calls received outside of these hours are categorised as 'missed'. Calls that come in during these hours that don't get answered are also categorised as 'missed'. This means we can't rely on using %missed as a KPI.
If calls outside of working hours had a different call result, this would improve performance reporting hugely.

Maybe this is more a bug report then a feature request.
The status is not identical in the RingCentral Desktop App and the RingCentral Teams integration.

RingCentral App - SMS User Interface Update
When sending a SMS the gray pop up for attaching something to the SMS will appear over the message causing parts of the message to be hidden.
Request to have pop up icon go up instead of down to prevent it from hiding SMS content.1 vote
