  2. When clicking on a GIF it automatically sends. It would be nice if it was added to the text field so we can add a message to accompany the GIF. In our office, we like to do birthday shout-outs and currently, we have to send two separate messages, one with the gif and the second with the shout-out. It would be nice if it could be one message together.

  4. I have business hours set on RC so that calls will go straight to VM after hours. How do I restrict text messages from coming through after business hours as well?
    I have talked with a support however the option for SMS schedule is not yet available it would be helpful if there is a way to schedule SMS traffic with the account

  5. We'd like to be able to set up our user extensions to ring back to the receptionist team rather than go to voicemail by default, such as when on DND, are on another call, or for any reason can't answer.

    Right now we can do this by setting "If no one answers" to "Forward the call" back to reception.

    However with the "If no one answers" setting is set that way (to anything other than "Send to voicemail"), the voicemail box is effectively disabled, so when a caller specifically requests to leave that extension a voicemail, the receptionist can no…

  7. As the call will roll over from the extension and if no one answered, it will be routed to Call queue. And if that case happened, it should not be showing as missed call on the analytics.

  8. • What issues is this solving for? - so the customer can use number '0' as their direct extension number
    • How will the feature help customer’s processes? - easy to remember their extension number
    • Who would benefit from it? - the customer

  10. Is there any way to disable the display of External Shared Contacts directory contacts to a group of users ?
    I currently use the external shared contacts of Google (it a check box to enble) but the sync has troubles (+20k contacts). I would like to use the External Shared Contacts directory from ringCentral Directory integration but not all of our users need it.

  11. We have a single user that is getting hit with a ton of spam calls. We've tried to block robocalls, calls from pay phones, and calls without a caller ID. They added their number to the Do Not Call list, but are still getting too many calls. They would like to block all external calls, but allow any internal calls. The Habegger account has hundreds of numbers. I'm looking for a way to accomplish this without manually adding numbers to a trusted list. Is this possible?

  14. Call Log and Analytics Reports can be filtered using EXT. The customer would like the ability to filter calls more specifically to show only those forwarded to a specific external number and to determine the number of such forwarded calls. Currently, the customer must manually review the call breakdown and examine each call to identify and count those that were forwarded to the specified number.

  15. Suggestion

    At the moment you can search a team instant message thread by words, poster or team but there is no way for you to search and filter by a date or date 'range'

    Reason

    Many times a members of a chat has mentioned in passing occurrences of an issue that much later I need to pull together to a report. I know the dates or date ranges but it is too hard to guess the exact wording of their post and searching by user/poster returns too many results (most not relevant).

    I need a way to select all posts…

  17. We had an office emergency in our office yesterday, and we needed everyone to clear the building ASAP. I was able to send a Direct message to all users. Afterward, I was wondering if there was a way to send an emergency notification to all our employees that would interrupt any call with a message.

  18. Most of us use Ring Central to contact customers. When texting, it would be great if the "create group text" is not the default as we have to send the same message to multiple customers, but we don't want them to accidentally receive a group text with other people's numbers.
