  1. We would like to be able to modify the text that is inside the email that Ring Central sends when a voicemail is received by a user or queue in our system. We have systems in place to add these emails to our CRM, but with all of the extraneous text and advertising, it makes review of these in the CRM cumbersome.

  2. Hello Team,Good day. Requesting to have an option to select Do not take call queue overflow extension/ Take call queue overflow extension from the Admin portal or RingCentral app. It would be great if user has the option to select what call queue over flow extension needs to accept/do not accept calls

  4. I would like to request the ability for users on active calls within a call queue to receive other calls to the call queue on both their desktop handset (Polycom VVX 350 & 450) and RC mobile/desktop app.

  5. Common area phones should be able to be limited to only call 911 externally and only allow calls to other internal extensions. We would rather not have a common area phone in the food court that a customer can call out from.

  6. It would be great to be able to assign/forward/make notes on a specific voicemail so that once you listen to it, you can tie an action item/team member/date/task to the actual voicemail. Currently adding tasks/messages/notes among team members seems confusing. Sometimes they only belong to you, other places they go to the team, but there is no way to follow up with a specific VM or client.

  7. There are moments that we need to send message to whole congregation through email, text, and voicemail. If I could use ringcentral to send a prerecorded message would help greatly.

  8. Currently, when a call comes into our main line, the caller ID is shown. This is extremely helpful when receiving a call. However, if the call is received by a receptionist (or the wrong person) and is immediately forwarded to another extention, the original caller ID is lost and replaced by the receptionists extention name/number. The original caller ID is now lost, meaning the name and/or number of the original caller is gone from view. It would be extremely helpfull to keep the original caller ID on a simple transfer.

Currently to see your company's E911 settings you must check each user and it's 2 or three clicks into each user's profile to see what the E911 settings are.Ring Central is sending emails to remind admins to keep this up to date, however even for a fairly small company checking what the current settings are is cumbersome.Please provide a report that might show by location the users/extensions at that location. Perhaps an advancement on this would be to include a flag to filter out non-Company owned addresses so you're not reviewing individual's home addresses

  11. It would be great to be able to upload more than one music file for callers to hear either as they're waiting to be connected or placed on hold. Additionally, the files should be able to be cycled through so as calls come through, the callers don't hear the same song from the beginning every time.

  13. Currently on the Ringcentral App, you can only see a listing of all voicemails that have been received in your Ringcentral App but it does not show you the total number of voicemails. Given that the cap on the maximum amount of voicemails one can have is 200, it would be helpful to see at a glance, the total number of voicemails one has at all times.

Bulk User Upload will encounter problems when certain requirements are not completed.Bulk Upload User prerequisites: • Emergency Registered Location (ERL) E911 address • Make use of the unassigned extension first • Always get the fresh Bulk User Upload template from the web portal to prevent instances of a corrupted template Perfect world these prereqs would be the error message, saying these things need to be done first, as this would provide the customer information they need at the time they need it.

Hello RC, thanks for offering this platform.I would like to suggest a 'threshold' for the voicemail-to-email fowarding feature, so that short messages with no actual voicemail are not fowarded.We receive emails when callers do not leave a voicemail (for example, they record for 1 to 3 seconds).It would be nice if the forwarding ignored, or had the option to ignore, voicemails that are clearly too short to contain a message.Thanks for the consideration!

  17. My company has about 2,500 Polycom VVX 601 phones, all equipped with a Polycom video camera for P2P video calls. Polycom is no longer making the VVX series phones, so we're unable to get new phones for new employees, or replacements for broken phones, so we're starting to purchase CCX series phones.Currently, you cannot make a video call between a VVX and a CCX phone. You can make VVX to VVX video calls, and CCX to CCX video calls, but you cannot make a video call between the two series.This lack of interoperability is hurting the value of the phone…

  18. Customer wants to have the option to disable merge iPhone Contacts on their RC app mobile when sending SMS on a number that is not added on their contacts.Customer is seeing "enable iPhone contacts" if they try to send SMS to a number that is not save as their contacts.
