  3. Today we have a list of all call histories. However, we don't have a view of call hostory of a specific contact. So, the use case would be like:I go to the call log screenI tap one of the records I'm able to see all the call history of this specific contact

In the new RingCentral desktop app, when RC identifies a number as a phone number (mostly incorrectly), it's very difficult to actually click-and-drag style highlight that number to copy and paste (I think because of the call, text pop-up that happens). It's impossible to select only a part of the number for the same reason. Double clicking works to select the whole thing, but this deviation from standard UI practices (and from the Classic version app behavior) is jarring.

  5. It would be useful to have 2 email addresses available under the company contact instead of just one. The purpose of the 2nd email is to allow the user to be reached at an alternate email address, if needed,

  6. With the RC App feature, I thought it would be cool if we could send Video Messages, similar to VoiceMail. This would be great feature to add for the holiday season, or leaving a video message when a person doesn't answer the phone.

  8. Today, when fax notifications come in, the "from" line shows "notify@ringcentral.com." However, my organization would prefer the ability to see the sender's fax # there, either showing in place of the generic email address or as a name that displays when the notification is received, thus masking the generic email address. This enables easier identification of the faxes, as we receive faxes over time from many of the same entities and, with our former provider, were able to use that from entry to easily sort received faxes within our inboxes.

I need this feature (like all other phone systems have), that will allow the user to dial a prefix before the number and different prefixes will send different caller ID numbers:-Certain phones can dial 9 + the phone number to use the Main company number as the outgoing caller ID number for this call-Certain phones can dial 8 + the phone number to use their direct number (or other assigned #) as the outgoing caller ID number for this callRC support suggested to change the user's caller ID in the admin portal, except this doesn't make sense if you have…

  10. As of now, attachments for SMS and faxes can only be sourced from local drive/computer, which is unsecured. Unlike Direct Message/Teams, where it can be set to Google drice, computer, One drive, etc..

  11. Sometimes I copy the wrong image and paste it into a chat, this could be completely irrelevant to the task, having a preview of the image before sending the message would be helpful to prevent errors.

  12. Currently there is no way to filter the logs using the status of the call, whether it is in progress. missed or answered. It would be great if we can add a filter to check the status of the call on the call log on the portal or on the application so that we can check easily how many minutes a current call is.

  13. We would like to have more filter settings when in the Delivery Settings in the call log. Or when filtering in the call log and applying the filter, users can click delivery settings to send the report to an email each day where it will save the filters that had be previously set.

It would be very helpful in making sales if I could make a new RingCentral system spoof the not-yet-ported or un-portable number of the customer after going through a process of proving that they own the number. Many people will not answer a call from an unfamiliar number, and this is a major sticking point for many of my clients who have otherwise good relationships with their clients.

  18. we do a lot of call backs and follow up and it would be great to use the RC app rather than using Zapier or some other app to dump numbers into our crm.  This would make RC a mini crm for tracking call history until a number is actually converted.   We would also be able to them track history in the mobile app too.  Don’t forget about the smbs who don’t want to pay for added services in order to track customer touch points.
