  2. With MITEL, was able to do conference call with multiple people that allows more than 3 participants. When switched to RingCentral, can only do up to 3 people including the initiator. With RingCentral, call the first person, hit conference button, dial the second person, then hit the conference button again to join. Then, after this conference button disappears and there is even no option to add more person in the call.

  7. We have a paging system that sits at an extension then expects a zone code. I would like to make a speed dial that would allow a pause and then the zone code dialed automatically. The speed dial would look like this 800#,,04#. this would dial the extension 800, # enters the extension immediately, the ",," pauses the dial for 2 seconds, the enters the zone code of 02#.

    Currently when i enter this format as a Speed Dial for my extension under Presence, it accepts my input of "800#,,02#" but only writes "800" to the speed dial. The original…

  8. RingCentral Feature Request: Improved Voicemail Forwarding for Message Only Extensions

    Current Limitations:
    While RingCentral allows setting voicemail notifications for existing email addresses, this functionality isn't available for "Message Only Extensions" under Phone System > Groups.
    Currently, there's no way to manually forward existing voicemails on Message Only Extensions to a newly added external email address.

    Proposed Feature:
    • Implement the ability to forward existing voicemails stored on a Message Only Extension to a user-specified external email address.
    • This functionality should be accessible within the Message Only Extension settings in Phone System > Groups.

  9. Currently, the On-demand and Automatic Call Recording announcement can only be set in the "Main Site". Businesses that have other sites or different call routing for other languages don't have the option to create a separate call recording announcement with a different language.

    It would be better if Automatic and On-Demand call recording announcements have the option to create another announcement with a different language that can be set to the call routing to the department who handled the customer calling with a different language and for the caller to also understand the announcement.

  10. For large retail business, it is difficult to enable HUD feature on each device mobile App. Customer wants to enable HUD by default or from Service Web enable for all users. We have a potential customer with 3000 Zebra devices wants this functionality.

  13. auto delete SMS after a day on a user level

    or SuperAdmin capability to manage data retention policy for a user level

    If you log in as SuperAdmin on the RC App> click on Settings > Administration> Messaging> Manage beside Manage data retention policy, you can set it to delete after 1 day. This will delete other messages too like voicemails and faxes.
    This however would apply to all users for the account so possible we can apply this to only one user.
