auto delete sms daily on a user level
auto delete SMS after a day on a user level
or SuperAdmin capability to manage data retention policy for a user level
If you log in as SuperAdmin on the RC App> click on Settings > Administration> Messaging> Manage beside Manage data retention policy, you can set it to delete after 1 day. This will delete other messages too like voicemails and faxes.
This however would apply to all users for the account so possible we can apply this to only one user.9 votes -

Allow Scheduling of Custom Rule Enablement
After a custom rule is crafted, I'd like the ability to schedule the turning on and turning off of the rule. Example: We have a site that is normally closed on Fridays, their on-hours schedule lists them as open on Fridays, so that we can still present callers with central service options. We route calls to that special IVR using a custom rule covering every Friday. They'd like to answer calls at the site on a few random Fridays -- but there is currently no easy way to schedule that.
My proposed idea would allow you to schedule on/off times…

Disable greeting for internal calls
There should be an option for users who have call greetings to not have them play on internal calls. Meaning it would just be for any external call to their DDI

Give Admins ability to see/control users' Status in Service Web
Some customers would like admins to be able to see and control the RC App Status of any user within the system. For example, if a customer has a team of people that are a part of after-hours/on-call support team and a Supervisor needs to make sure on-call resources are actively marked as "Available" within the RC App during their shift so that calls are delivered.

Archive all information at Admin Account settings
The request is to allow for Archiver tool to archive voicemail, SMS and Fax at Admin Account level instead of at the My Extension level. This would mean that it works in the same way the admin can do this for Call Recording. Without this, each user must be enabled and the user may have the ability to "undo" this and the customer may have to archive via API or a 3rd party app.

Automate the provisioning of TAS Bypass Numbers
Enable customers to self-serve the addition of TAS Bypass Numbers in Service Web. When a Direct Number is added to a user, present a checkbox to allow them to select the number to be conditioned for TAS Bypass. The system would then auto-provision (condition) the number. The system/portal should also visibly indicate which numbers they have conditioned for TAS Bypass.

Allow individual users to use RC Credentials when SSO is enforced for others
Some customers need the ability to authenticate a custom application for server-side connection via password-flow. However, when they enforce SSO on the account, this option goes away. If a single user in the account could authenticate via RC Credentials while the rest of the users are enforced for SSO, this would solve the issue.

Azure/OKTA Provisioning: Disable activation email after user is automatically provisioned.
The request is to disable the activation email after users are automatically provisioned so that users' first interaction with RingEX is to sign into the app via SSO.

Block File sharing
The request is to have the ability to prevent file sharing with external guests within RingEX so that sensitive information cannot be sent. For example, if a whitelisted external guest is collaborating with an employee via RingEX, the employee would not be able to do share files with this external individual as the administrator would switch file sharing off for guests.

Would like to push a script to disable the RC app from auto-launching. We know that end users can disable RC App auto launch but we would like to be able to do it for them.
