  2. Right now, if an extension is deleted, only the main super admin can access call recordings for that extension. When other super admins try to access those recordings, they get an error message saying "Recording was deleted already due to retention policy."

  3. The messaging system is terrible. We have clients who rely on timely updates, and our messages are critical to keeping them informed. Unfortunately, many of our messages were never sent for reasons we still don't know.

    As a result, several clients canceled their orders because they believed we weren't responding, providing updates, or taking care of their concerns. The messages simply were not delivered.

    This issue has caused our company significant financial losses and has negatively impacted our reputation with customers. It's unacceptable for a messaging platform to fail in such a critical function.

    The AI Receptionist can currently transfer calls only to individual user extensions. It cannot transfer calls directly to other extension types, such as Shared Lines.

    Feature Request:

    Add the ability for AI Receptionist to transfer calls to any valid extension within the account, not just user extensions. Supported destinations should include:

  6. Within RingCentral team messaging, any member of a Team can click the "Start video call" button. Doing so instantly rings every single member of that team simultaneously.

    Because this button sits prominently in the UI, it can be easily clicked by accident, where dozens or potentially hundreds of employees in the team are suddenly blasted with a live video call notification, causing workplace disruption, confusion, and embarrassment for the accidental caller. Currently, there is no way for a RingCentral Administrator or Team Owner to disable, hide, or restrict this feature.

  7. We have a phone number that when called activates 2-way radios and becomes an open convo between the user calling the DID and the after-hours maintenance people. I need to put an ATA or some other adapter on the line to make this work, not 100 percent sure what I should get.

    Calling of the phone triggers the two-way communication. The device that the phone line triggers is a Zetron Model 30 WorldPatch. The phone line goes into that device and that device then triggers a Motorola radio hub.

  11. We would like the ability for administrators to trigger an account-wide firmware update for supported desk phones, particularly RingCentral-provisioned devices such as Poly VVX 450, Poly VVX 250, and other phones purchased through RingCentral.

    Currently, firmware updates may require individual device actions, scheduled updates, or waiting for automatic deployment. An administrator-initiated bulk firmware update would allow organizations to quickly deploy important firmware releases across all eligible devices.

  13. Additional filter for the call logs.

    Currently, the only filters are the date range, call direction, types of call, and the extension.

    It would be helpful if all attributes that can be found on the detailed view can be filtered.

    In our specific use case, we would like to filter the "result" with "IP Phone Offline".

    We would like to request that RingCentral extend support for the Custom Key Layout (CKL) feature to the Yealink T42S desk phone model.

    Currently, newer models like the Yealink T43U fully support CKL, allowing administrators and users to easily configure custom keys (such as Paging, Speed Dial, Intercom, etc.) via the RingCentral Admin Portal. However, the Yealink T42S—which remains a widely deployed hardware model in our environment—currently lacks this capability, limiting our ability to standardize key layouts across our fleet.
