  1. Customer is not happy regarding our process in manually enabling the SMS feature of a newly added Canadian number for SMS. It would be best if the SMS feature would be enabled by default for Canadian numbers especially if it would be only use to send SMS inside Canada.

  2. The default subject line for email notifications when voicemails are left reads "New Voice Message from [RingCentral customer name] - [customer] [number] on [date]. Where email subject line real estate is at a premium, RingCentral customers should be given flexibility and customization.

    First, the VM is most likely not "from" the RingCentral customer--it is mostly likely from the customer of the Ring Central customer.

    Second, if the RingCentral customer has a long name, the most important part of the VM--the WHO--gets lost in the sauce.

    Lastly, the subject line is poorly formatted with no punctuation or break between the name…

  3. Currently, customers can only opt out of receiving SMS messages by replying "STOP" to text messages from individual phone numbers. This process can be cumbersome for accounts with multiple numbers, as customers must opt out separately for each one.

    We request a feature that allows customers to opt out of SMS messaging across all numbers within their account simultaneously. This centralized opt-out option would improve user experience by providing a simpler and more efficient way to manage SMS preferences and ensure compliance with opt-out regulations.

  6. Currently, in RingCentral Contact Center and RingCX, there is an option to see who disconnected a call. However, this feature is not available in regular RingCentral. It would be extremely beneficial for users to have the ability to view which party (caller or recipient) disconnected the call directly in the call logs or analytics for better tracking and troubleshooting.

    Adding this feature would improve the visibility of call statuses and provide more useful insights, especially for customer support teams and operations managers.

  8. We would like to set "No Cover Page" as the default option for outbound faxes across our entire RingCentral account.

    Currently, we have to manually select "No Cover Page" each time we send a fax, which is inefficient for our team. We'd like to configure our account so that faxes are sent without a cover page by default — without requiring users to adjust this setting individually or for each fax.

    Please let us know if this can be configured at the account level or via user templates, and what steps are required to implement it.

  9. Requesting the ability to apply custom role-based restrictions that would prevent certain users from deleting specific types of data within their RingCentral account.

    Specifically, the customer would like to restrict users—through role permissions—from deleting items such as voicemails, AI-generated notes, chats, messages, and similar communication records. Implementing this level of control would help maintain data integrity, ensure accountability, and align with their internal compliance or record-keeping policies.

When trying to assign a phone from the number inventory, It puts up a message that I have no licenses in the cost center selected and prompting users to purchase an additional license without showing the visible option to transfer an available license can easily lead to unnecessary spending and inefficient license management. Making the transfer option more visible and user-friendly especially when a user encounters a "no available licenses" message would likely reduce confusion, improve resource utilization, and increase customer satisfaction.

  12. Desk phone/Teams integration

    We have a user who is wondering if it is possible to make a call via their desk phone, but to then have the actual call go not through the desk phone, but through Teams and use their PC speakers/mic. Can this be done, or is this not supported?

  13. Some general quality of life improvements requested.

    • Portal performance can be slow at times leading to tasks that should be quick taking longer than one would expect

    • Columns cannot be adjusted in some circumstances, leading to an inability to quickly peruse various lists as naming conventions are cut off

    • Parity in menus, for example: Call forwarding on a queue allows users to forward calls to an external number, whereas site level call forwards does not

  15. We request the implementation of an automated email notification system that alerts designated users or administrators whenever changes are made to critical administrative settings in the admin portal (IVR menus, call queues, etc.)

    This feature will help ensure operational visibility by keeping relevant teams informed about system changes that could impact customer experience or internal workflows. Immediate awareness of unauthorized or unintended modifications will help prevent potential service disruptions, security issues, or system misuse.

  17. Customer need to keep the dial pad fixed on-set on of an answered incoming calls
    currently the customer need to click first the dial pad icon on an active call to display the dial pad
    this is useful to lead generation, when winning the lead requires a key pressed on the dial pad (e.g. 1)

  18. I would like the ability to fully turn off integration with iPhone iOS contacts. Even with call logs turned off, when I try to call someone from my personal iPhone contacts, I still get the option to place the call using RingCentral.

    I will never need to call my personal, non-work contacts through RingCentral, and this creates the risk of doing so by mistake. Please add an option to completely disable iOS contact integration so that RingCentral only ever handles work calls and contacts.

  19. The current limit for adding multiple accounts to the RingCentral desktop app is 3. This limit should be increased to allow more than 3 accounts.

    This will be useful for partners that are working projects for multiple RingCentral customers.
