  1. Currently the SMS archiving is mediocre at best. It archives into a selected provider like Google Drive & each text is saved individually in a notepad (unless using a 3rd party integrated archiving solution). In the financial services industry this completely misses the point of archiving. SEC/FINRA standards require an archiving solution that is not editable. It would be really nice to have it saved even as a PDF with clear meta data saved (time stamp, numbers texting, etc.).   2. It would be terrific if an integration with Archive Intel could be better than SMS archiving only. It would be nice to be able to have them be able to archive all teams messages, faxes, and other communications. The SMS archive is already great.

  3. There needs to be a much better solution for downloading teams messages. The only option is in the settings and it will download as a .json. Completely useless format for us. Especially since it does not actually archive images/files that are shared. There also needs to be a better option to download all images & files versus right now, its only one at a time. The current archiver for whatever reason, currently does not archive this and that is a complete oversight. Especially for the financial services industry. And to give 3rd party companies easier integration access to this data…

  4. If the screening, greeting, and hold music options are unchecked(under Role), users will not be able to change their voicemail greetings, either on the physical phone or the desktop app. The customer would like their users to be able to change voicemail greetings, but not hold music .

  6. We contacted support seeking assistance with setting up Yubikey with RC MFA we were educated where to navigate to setup the MFA however we failed setting it up as Ringcentral does not support FIDO MFA authentication

  7. Description:
    Currently, when sending a fax using a company number, the fax email notification displays the main super admin’s name instead of the actual user who sent the fax. However, when sending a fax using the assigned individual's phone number, the email notification correctly displays the sender’s name.

    Issue:

    Fax notifications sent via the company number always show the super admin’s name as the sender.

    Fax notifications sent via assigned user numbers display the correct sender name.

    Allow customization or dynamic updating of the email header for fax notifications so that the sender name reflects the actual user…

  8. Mitel 6930W cannot keep up with user's input speed when dialing phone numbers. The user's input rate is faster than the duration of the audio being played when entering phone numbers. This is causing audible delay with the dial tones.

    If you could shorten the audio associate to each digit, I think that could improve the audio delay when dialing phone numbers for users who are quick on the dial pad.

    They were just surprise that after the software update (RC app) that all users automatically been log out of the RC system. which was not advise on the software update to set their expectation

    They want to include this as disclaimer in the future so that this will not puzzle them

  13. AI Notes is automatically turning off after logging back in

    Currently the data is stored locally. Local storage gets purged when user logs out. A future release will update the setting to persist across endpoints and login sessions.

  14. Modify the description "Voicemail Greeting" to instead display "Voicemail Message". Our users routinely mistake "Call Greeting" for "Voicemail Greeting" and we end up having users that have a voicemail message play before the call is connected, causing confusion for callers. Most of these mistakes happen when attempting to modify the Voicemail Greeting via the administrative settings over the phone. Modifying the description on both the admin portal, and the admin settings over the phone could be a simple way to avoid further confusion.

    We would like to have a hardware button that serves as a "Panic Button"
    The goal is to have something to press in discreet in case of an emergency.
    This button will then dial a direct call to a programmed number that will trigger at alert/alarm.
