  1. Currently when the customer adds a new user to a cost center, if there are no licenses allocated to that cost center the customer ends up purchasing a new license. With cost centers enabled the customer must take the extra step of moving licenses around to ensure they are not unintentially purchasing additional licenses. The idea is to allow an admin adding new users to a child cost center the ability to use an available license from the parent cost center.

  3. We are unhappy with the 'reverse park' function. When we put phone calls on a 'park location' our phone rings back after 8 1/2 minutes. We do at times have our customers on holder longer then 8 /12 minutes. We would appreciate being able to either turn that function off or extending the function to 15+ minutes. Thank you!

  4. The User Reset and Assign capability is only available for users with a Super Admin role. It would be beneficial if this capability was an option when creating a custom role. There are areas of the Super Admin role that some of my team members should not have access to. Currently they are deleting the user and adding them back in which is much less efficient. Also deleting a users removes them from ring groups which we do not want to happen.

  5. The way the paging devices work is impractical if you need to page quickly. I'm not sure if this has to be dialed as shown (*84#9980#) , but when I try to create a contact, it will not accept the special characters. Is there a way that paging can be setup to appear in the directory?

  7. When starting a conference call, there is no dial-in number for Vancouver, BC on the drop-down list of the available numbers. The only numbers provided are for ON, AB, NS, NL, QC.

I have a customer that is in the banking industry and needs the ability for tellers to originate outbound calls from the desktop RC app on their PC, but have it dial out from their desktop phone. The tellers aren't allowed to wear headsets, so they need a solution where they initiate the call from the desktop app, and then the call dials out from their desktop phone (as they will have the desktop phone to their ear).

  9. Many of our customers request more options in terms of creating logic for Custom Answering Rules, and Smart Holiday Options.
    Request to add:
    - Options to specify something like "The second Tuesday of every
    month from 9 AM to 5 PM"
    - Options to specify something like "Annually on May 10 from 9 AM to
    5 PM"
    - Options to "Repeat every ## [Days, Weeks, Months, Years] and end
    [Never, On __ Date, or After __ occurrences)
    - Option to select smart major Holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving,
    etc.) that don't need to be updated every year.

  12. As of right now RingCentral allows any user given HUD access in the RC Desktop APP to add any extension in the company (including executive staff). Allowing them to easily see the names of callers, recipients and length of call. This must be addressed.

  13. Im a small business owner and looking to have one central location or hub that is shared between multiple users (extensions). For example: Phone calls, SMS, Voicemail, and missed calls can be viewed and responded by all users under one umbrella. Currently and specifically SMS & Voicemails go to one specific extension (say extension 101, but ex 102 should also have access to those SMS and Voicemails) and only that extension has access to it, which clogs the system of communication. ALL extensions should have the ability to hear voicemails and respond to SMS in the central location or hub.…

  16. Need to have an option to change how we setup a call queue. As an example, we activated a call queue by selecting Call Queue Managers. After we activating, we want to have an option to change from "Call Queue Managers" to Email address and vice-versa.

  17. Currently, in the RC app (desktop and remote), when integrated with contacts in Outlook, an individual name can be entered and the associated phone number will popup. However, if a company name is entered (and the Outlook contact for the company correctly shows the company as a business), RC will not locate the number. RC's competitors (for instance, 8x8) have this feature. Similarly, with a competitor, when a company name is entered, all individuals associated with the company show up.

Having the ability to create folders or subcategories under the HUD feature would allow those user's who have many extensions listed, to be able to sort through those extensions to more easily locate the extensions they need at any particular moment or day. All user's who use the HUD feature would benefit from an additional features like this.It would simply work exactly like Folders under the Message tab. Have the ability to add new Folders, name the Folder, place extensions in the Folder, and move the Folders' orders.

  19. Change the way you enter the date and time within a custom rule. Rather than a scroll wheel and date picker, allow us to manually write the date and time. I think this would save a lot of time when having to apply the rule to more than one call queue. Or, allow a 'super rule' that when turned on applies to multiple call queues of your choosing. We regularly need to forward call queues to an out of office call centre earlier than usual, and each time we need to manually update the rule to match todays date and…

  20. Currently when looking at your recorded meetings it titles then "Scheduled Meeting" instead of the Meeting name, or a custom name we can title the recording. Having the recording titled with either the meeting name or allowing a custom name will greatly benefit searching recordings. Currently if we wanted to look at a recording from say last week, we have to look at a few recordings to find the correct one.
