MVP: [messaging] when Glip message is deleted, also delete mobile notification.When mobile notifications are enabled (android and iOS) : upon deleting a particular Glip message, the corresponding mobile notification (android and iOS) may still still visible. Said mobile notification often contains a portion of the original Glip message, or the full glip message.This may not be possible, but it seems like a good idea.

Whatsapp is planning a new update that will let app users recall or revoke sent text messages, as well as edit texts after they have been sent.Pressing and holding on a sent message within the iOS version of WhatsApp now includes two new options in the small menu.However, there is a catch: you can only revoke messages that haven't been 'seen' by the receiver. But hey, that's still handy! Especially for those times of IMMEDIATE regret.

  3. This customer required notification to callers that there call is being monitored. This is only for inbound and outbound calls that will be monitored. The customer feels this is required by law in any 2 party consent state. To play a blanket message on any call (whether it will be monitored or not) is very disruptive to their business especially for out bound calls.

  4. Customer has a large installation of MacBooks with various chipsets - Intel, Apple M1 and soon Apple M2. They are requesting a universal installer be created so they don't have to know what chipset the MacBook is running. This makes pushing out software updates extremely time consuming and frustrating. They have stated that RingCentral is the only software vendor that does not have a universal installer for MacOS.

  10. Our users are used to seeing a numeric tally of the voicemails that they have on our old system being displayed on the phone. They are used to looking at the phone screen in the morning and seeing that they have a certain number of voicemails, which helps them plan their morning schedule. This is a very useful feature that they came to depend on with our old carrier. They would like to get this feature back.

  13. Please add more details on specific account changes for email notifications to the main super admin. For awareness of the main super admin, if changes are made in the account, he should be notified in detail, e.g. Ext 7003 reset his own password

  14. when customer's main number is set to forward calls to call queue, missed calls should still trigger an auto reply sms from the main number. currently, this only works if auto receptionist is set to forward calls to user extensions

  15. We would like to have the ability to set message (for RC Messages) to a user definable period (12 hours). Our current options are 30,60,90 days or perpetual. We want to be able to do this to dissuade people from using messages like email which greatly complicates public record requests when messages is used for non-transitory messaging. Having the ability to keep messages from lasting aligns it to transitory use very well.

  16. Please allow URL shorteners in SMS/MMS messages depending on the usage. Some customers need to use shorteners in order to send links to appointment sign-up sheets and landing pages for their clients. Currently, the only workaround indicated would be to use private/proprietary URL shorteners.

  17. The RingCentral App is very rich in settings.It would be great to have a "Reset settings to default" option to help in scenarios where users have changed many settings to the extent they cannot remember what changes were made and why the app is no longer working as it should.

  18. This would benefit not only the company but the person administering the phones. On a Cisco phone (88XX) there currently are two address books, a system address book which is not functional and a personal address book which is unique to each phone. In order to have a "company" list, we currently have to utilize the personal address book and manually enter each entry into each phone. If anything changes(additions, changes, deletions), we have to manually change it in each phone. This can be very time-consuming to manage but at present is the only way to get a company directory…

  19. Allow notifications (email/desktop/mobile) when a new task is created and assigned to me, or when a task is reassigned to me. And add notification number/bubble on the task menu icon.Currently, I have to have notifications for all team messages- so the sheer number of notifications drowns out important information like a new task that I need to complete.
