So I have a BUNCH of texts from people who I haven't texted in 6+ months that are clogging up my RC Phone app. It runs so slowly and it's because I have an astronomical amount of text messages from the past in the app. I want to be able to delete any phone numbers/text messages that I haven't messaged or called 6 months ago or beyond.

  2. The video app can clearly make a distinction between background noise and when a person speaks. Moreover, in video communication, the client can have some AI capabilities that can detect using image processing if someone's lips are moving and indicating they are speaking. Also, gesture sensing is possible like raising hands and indicating interest in speaking. With this in mind having a toggle option between manual mute and auto-mute could be a viable feature. This will enable hands-free conversations. If the auto mute is on then the system will keep on listening to sounds but won't transmit into the call.…

  3. Since there was no option to share the recording to external contacts, there should be an option to download the Meeting and Call recordings in the mobile app especially if it's your only available device when you need to send it.

  6. Our company synced our RingCentral account to our Zoho CRM, but the CRM contacts are not shared/synced back to RingCentral's contact database in either the RC desktop or mobile apps. Please add a feature to sync the contacts between the two systems.

  7. As an admin we can not currently hid the "Apps" tile. We don't allow our users to download or install applications on their own, we would like the ability to hid this. Admins should have controls on all applications to either prevent access by role or to hid this as a company setting.

  8. On RC Classic: When you open a task to edit it, you can press and hold the corner button that allows you to expand the field. This feature is missing in the new app.Why it's useful: When you have a lot more information to add to a task than just a few sentences, it becomes tedious to scroll through a tiny window to see what I was typing. Also, when editing, part of the text is simply cut off and disappears if you save the task. This is very inconvenient and interferes with work. Please fix this bug.

  10. This is a new customer and they requested these icons be removed like what they did for Messaging. They use Teams and have a Cisco PBX are do not want these icons as they confuse the end users. They will be using RC for Video and Audio conf but wanted the full Ultimate license so at some point they can from Cisco phones to RC. These icons prove also to be against compliance for many organizations as they don't allow SMS/Text and Messaging (most have Teams and it is locked down internally and with DLP enabled).   12. When using the dialpad in the application, I should never have to leave that window to perform any normal phone based function. Buttons should be intuitive and common functions should never be hidden under a “…” More button. Most users will never use/need the “Video” function on a voice call and yet it is a central button on screen during a voice call, but the “Transfer” function that is very commonly used by most users is buried under “More”.   13. I have multiple sites enabled, but the default "Main Site" can't be changed. Give us admins the option to change the "Main Site" to something more usefule that will make it easier to know what site "main site" is.

  15. I need to know how to generate a report of all faxes our company has sent that included page counts. I have generated a report under Reports/Call Log/ and changing Type of Call to Fax but page counts are not included in this. Can we add this detail when generating a report?

I would love to have a setting to be able to shut myself off from receiving incoming calls but not fully "do not disturb" so I can hear when people message me directly or if there is communications in chats. If we have it on DND now people message me and I can't hear anything, but I just want to silence my phone, not everything else on the app. Thanks!
