Currently if a user is given permission to select what outbound CLI they want to present on an outbound call they have complete visibility of every CLI that is configured on the platform and can select any CLI.Within our RingCentral instance we have hundreds of CLI's allocated so being able to select the required outbound CLI is clumsy, prone to human error and not quick due to the volume of numbers we have. The instant message event currently delivers a payload for new inbound messages that include the message details, meaning an additional api call to retrieve the message details is not necessary, unlike the message event. It would be useful to be able to receive outbound messages as well as an instant message event, especially for integrations in which users will also be utilizing the native ring central sms functionality within the portal.

  3. Currently the only options on RingCentral appear to be either automatic recording inbound calls and/or outbound calls OR on demand recording of inbound and/or outbound calls. The problem with this, is that it appears that RIngCentral treats even internal calls (extension to extension) as an inbound or outbound call and records these conversations. Our organization has never recorded internal calls from our employees as it feels a bit like "big brother" and we frankly do not need this option.   4. Current behavior: If you type or enter an IP address or domain name, it is automatically displayed as a clickable hyperlink. Desire behavior: The ability to right click on the string identified by RC app as a hyperlink and remove the hyperlink so that it's displayed as just a raw stringThis will improve cases where the RC app misidentifies text as a hyperlink and also allows users to share links/IPs while removing the risk of an accidental click, should the link or IP be malicious or intended to be not clickable

With the importance of CNAM and OB Caller ID, having the ability to:1) visually see Caller ID field data for each site as a column under Admin Portal > Phone System > Company Information2) have the ability to export Caller ID field data by site for an overview to know if the Caller ID needs to be updated based on company changes or acquisitions.

  9. One of our users need to use their number for verification with Venmo. When they enter their number Venmo returns an error message stating that it is not a mobile number.There are several FR's submitted https://ideas.ringcentral.com/ideas/ENTCOM-I-53 and based on the update, it was implemented but it seems to be not working still.Please check as customer needs this ASAP.

  10. Last 10 years we used xphone with the teampanel. (its like the HUD of RingCentral). It would be a great improvement if the shared status shown in the HUD directly.

  13. Every time a user parks a call, the entire office gets notified. This is confusing as it implies that the call is parked for them to pick up. Users do not need to be notified when a call is parked.

  14. With the 22.3 release of "Custom Key Layout Support for Mitel and Poly phones", additional features are available that can be selected under Presence Keys. One of these is an intercom feature (which simply speed dials *85). Unfortunately, users cannot include the actual extension that they want to program onto the phone, thus forcing them to try and remember extension numbers. This requested feature can be prevalent within the smaller Healthcare, Education, Manufacturing, FinServ and Retail spaces.

  15. We would like to be able to customize the conference call number's greeting. The default greeting tells participants to "Please announce yourself". This becomes very disruptive when a person arrives late. That greeting also does not address the instructions that we would like a participant to know before entering the meeting.

  17. As attorneys, we must prove to the court a fax was submitted to the opposing party or attorney especially when the opposing attorney says they never received it. This is very critical when it comes to denial and statute of limitations as the timeline goes. At that time we need to find the proof that the fax was submitted and attach proof from the system that it was sent with a copy of the fax.Your current system does not support this.   18. Add prompt when clicking "Add User" if there are unassigned extensions available. This would stop over-billing and improve customer satisfaction. Also, it could stop billing team from having to make so many adjustments to accounts.

  20. If I'm not using the RingCentral dialer, and initiate a call outside of the app, the caller ID used to make the call is the default one. There's no way to change this on the fly. There are many times when I want to use My individual caller ID as opposed to my company caller ID, or vice versa. If the calls being initiated from outside the app, it's not possible to modify this.

    What I think would be a great option, would be to have a setting toggle for prompt for caller ID each time a call is placed.…
