Make the 'X' to close a pop up more visible
A lot of tickets are generated to IT when RC announce an update with a pop-up window because the X to close is transparent and people just don’t see it.However, the pop-up prevents them from using the app.Please make the 'X' more visible so that the window can be easily closed to allow access to the app.

"Rolodex" where you can house all your contacts that the entire company can reference.
Since Ring Central is for calls both incoming and outgoing it would be nice to be able to add contacts that the company uses such as vendors you work with, site contacts, etc.. Currently you can only add "Personal Contacts" which only the user can reference. Essentially a rolodex of contacts the company uses.

Show the time along with the date of the missed call and voicemail.
i would like to know what time of day i've missed the call or received the voicemail.

Do not have a text send when pressing 'Enter' on desktop
In the iPhone app, pressing 'Enter' goes to the next line in the text to start a new paragraph. On the Windows desktop version, pressing 'Enter' sends the text. Please change the desktop app to be like the iPhone app so I don't accidentally send my text with only the recipient's name, or just before I put my name at the end. Please have the text send only by clicking the paper airplane.Or at least provide options in the settings for how people want to send their texts.Thank you!

Manually entered/update Caller ID Name in RingCentral
In RC Admin/User Web Portal > Reports > Call Log, Name can be associated with Phone Number, future calls from the Phone Number will now display the Name in Caller ID.This function only works for individual RC users. For example, if RC User 1 enters a Name for Phone Number 123, RC User 2 will not see the Name for Phone Number 123 in Caller ID, so RC User 2 will also need to also enter a Name for Phone Number 123 in order to see the Name in Caller ID.It would be great if when RC Users associate a…

Be able to lock the app window to a specific size and be able to lock the app window and/or dock the app window to a specific position on one of our screens. (Currently, always opens too large and way off screen, so that I am challenged to grab it and get it back to where I can use it and in moving it, it stretches super-wide. It needs better sizing and docking and locking features.)

Make it possible to copy the phone number directly from the call list
It would be helpful to copy the phone number directly from the call list.Currently, the only way to copy the number of a caller is to click on that call, open the call details, and copy from there, which takes extra clicks.

Add the line registration feature for the RingCentral app (mobile and desktop). Without this feature functions like the Call Me function...
... through the RC admin portal do not work for users only using the Desktop and Mobile app versions of RC.. We contacted RingCentral support about some of our users not being able to use the Call Me function to receive calls to their mobile and desktop apps and RC support's response was only desk phones and RingCentral Phone is currently setup to do this. They suggested we put in a new idea to get the RC desktop and mobile apps added to their line registration page (why wasn't this considered before this) so we're posting that idea here. As…

There needs to be a "Clear All" option for missed calls.
In the RC UC app, there is an option to "Delete All Call History". That option should also exist for just Voicemails, amd Missed Calls. Users should not have to delete individual Missed Calls or Voicemails. FYI, Users had this functionality in the RC Phone app.Thank you.

AUTOMATICALLY SHARE NEW CONTACTS WITH TEAM
While working remotely or in different offices, when receiving new calls, we individually add a new contact name, number and email. Yet this is not shared to the other users on our team. We were informed the procedure is to export and then import regularly, and then repeat to/from each team member? This is very time consuming and inefficient.

I want to add cloud recording for my calls

Would like to add if possible, a feature that could select fax view (e.g adobe) as a default view and download location to a specific file in the computer.

Call Queue - Disable Email Notification when User is Added to a queue
Everytime a User is added to a Call Queue, they get an email about being added to that queue. This is really annoying to my users, as we're using API's to move users in and out of Queues all day.If there was a setting at the User level to prevent getting this notification, or better yet, at the queue level to prevent notifications that would be great.

Voicemail Envelope information
Add an option to press a button (ex: 7) in the mailbox that plays the date/time/callerID and CallerID name of the voicemail in the mailbox. Otherwise there is no way to know by listening to a voicemail what the caller ID is. Also, there is no way to log into the web interface of a voicemail to check unless it is a call queue or your own mailbox. So, when sharing mailboxes this is a big obstacle.

Receive missed call notification for delegated calls
It would be great to add the ability to received notifications for missed calls for delegated calls. Often the Executive assistant needs to return missed calls and if they do not have access to the notifications, it's very limiting.

Mobile/Desktop App - Automatic Hold After Transfer
This feature would help the app act the same as a desk phone if you are taking external calls and transferring them to other users. After taking an external call, going to call actions and clicking transfer, the caller would automatically be placed on hold as you dial an internal extension or search for a user for a warm or blind transfer.
