  1. Hi RingCentral,With the RC Admin portal we can see the status of the phones.But it seems that this only works for SIP devices (RC Phone and Sip phones), but not for the RC APP.Can you also the RC APP to this overview?

  2. We have 4 locations, and have many employees that travel around from location to location on a daily basis. We have even more employees that change physical offices throughout the day. Every office/desk station has a physical Polycom phone+headset combo. Currently, RingCentral has no method for a User/Employee to change their desk phone in the system, and they must find an Admin to go in and swap their desk phones in Admin Portal. I would think RingCentral would allow Users to be more 'mobile' in their workday and allow them to change their own desk phone. If a user is…

  3. I have several auto-receptionists numbers that are not searching in the RingCentral app. My only workaround is to create contacts for each user.

  4. I don't list a fax number and I get nothing but junk faxes sent to my main line. I have a dedicated fax number if I want to receive faxes. Please add a feature that allows me to stop receiving faxes on my PHONE number.

  5. Use Case: Our office works in shifts and use desk phones at each station. The phones are assigned to desks and the employees log into the phone during their shift. We would like to be about to page to the office, regardless if someone is logged into the device. Hot Desk phones are not listed as an option for a DEVICE to receive a page.

  6. Useful because it saves time. Currently, you have to dig into the Menu option, press InterCom, and then enter your extension. With a traditional intercom option, I should be able to 'buzz' the other party simply.

  7. I would like to download all the phone numbers on the account inluding the serial numbers of the desk phones. As for now, we can only download the phone numbers and the make and model of the desk phones.

  8. Usually, it will only show the number being dialed by callers and not including the keypress they have pressed. It would be great if keypresses dialed by callers should also reflect in the call information.

If a user doesn't show up for work (calls out sick, for example), their Available/Busy status cannot be updated by anyone else, so all other users see their presence as whatever their last status was, and they think that the user is at their desk when they are not there. It would be helpful if an Admin user could change other users' Available/Busy status, and the presence message, so that all other users would know the true status of the user.

  11. ...ferent members of the firm. Becuse currently the export shows nothing - it only shows what the individuals enaged in and doesn't tell us who is saying what. it's useless for future employment related issues.

  12. Ringcentral would provide a dedicated email address tied to the account. When emails are sent to this address, they are converted to sms messages sent to the number associated with the account. This is useful for IOT devices where foreign equipment can send email alerts only. These email alerts would then be received by RingCentral and converted into SMS messages.

  14. In the call history tab can the calls display what number they called? I am on a queue for the I.T. helpdesk, if someone calls the helpdesk number and I miss it, it shows in my call history (All calls & missed calls) tabs as a missed call but nowhere does it show if they called me direct or if they called our queue. If they called me direct I feel I should return the call, if they called the queue then I can assume someone else answered the call.I know I can do this in the android app by…

  18. In the RC Classic app, conversations in Teams and Direct Messages group together. The new App does not do this, each message is a separate line and it's actually really frustrating/ugly. Can you please allow the option or set it so that messaging groups together? This would make a bunch of my Engineers very happy.

  19. We desperately need the ability to have multiple queues and as a call makes it way through those queues that the queues the call had passed continues to ring as it adds the second queue then the third queue. I assume this isnt an option based on conversation and research.

I am seeing charges on my bill for calls that are apparently outside of my dial plan (Domestic and International) but there is nothing within the Portal to tell me which prefixes are and are not included. Please update the Admin Portal to show which prefixes and included (and thus also excluded) from my calling plan. I appreciate there are limitations on Global MVP if we exceed the bundle minutes, but we will be able to see this in the data - at present we do not have any means to see which numbers our user can call which are…
