Configurable minimum length RC authentication password
Robert Half has requested the ability to configure the minimum length of the RC authentication password to 16 characters. Their plan is to leverage SSO, but also allow RC authentication, they believe allowing a minimum of 16 characters will make it more secure.

Task Categories Missing in New RC Version
We are not able to see our task categories in this upgraded RC version. This makes it much less functional for us as categories were a good way to segment our tasks rather than having everything jumbled.Thanks.

The MSI for the latest desktop phone application should be available at the same time as a user is prompted to upgrade
Users typically see the opportunity to upgrade their RC desktop phone application prior to the same version MSI is available for download by IT admins. Since many users are not local admins of their machines, this causes many questions.

Abandonment Threshold
I don't want to count queue abandons at <30 seconds. They are hang ups and aren't valid in our performance data. Ring Central does not have the ability to set an abandonment threshold. I know that RC is not an ACD, but this should be a standard in any phone system. I've never seen one where it's not an option - until now.

Keep Site Filter When Editing User Phones
Option to keep the Sites filter in place when editing multiple phones.Every time I need to change multiple phones and select a Site filter, when I'm finished and click the "Back" button, it brings me back to the list of user phones but clears the filter. It makes it difficult when updating several phones in the same site and I have to re-select the site in the filter drop down list every single time.

Create administrator message inbox in Service Web
The request is for the creation of an administrator inbox in Service Web so that essential customer communication can be forwarded to it. In that way, customer communication with respect to maintenance, port changes, etc. may be simplified and RC does not have to verify if customer admins or responsible communication parties have left the company.

Emergency Message / Announcement
Ability to record and play a message for callers to hear when any phone number in their RC Office account is dialed before moving on to the "normal" call flow logic for that phone number.
Customers have found a new need to play recorded emergency information to new callers on a variety of phone numbers in their RC Office account due to the current pandemic. It is a monumental task right now given an account that has several hundred or thousands of phone numbers with varying degrees of call flow logic.

Phasing phone application work around
Ideas:One Glip app with both the individual intraoffice extention and the shared extension. My concern is that using the same Glip app for both the shared ext and individual ext would be ineffecting and very inconvenient). Secretaries are required to multitask, to be able to immediately reply to the doctor and the patient simultaneously. Separate applications allow us to do so. Also, when there is an issue/glitch in the Glip app, it affect our ability to communicate with our patients. Silent air time after customer is told to hold the line
If the customer does not press zero, but holds the line as directed, there is 8 seconds of silence. We are noticing some hang ups during this because the customer thinks we have dropped the call.

Integrate tasks with cloud calendars
Add task functionality to the calendar integrations for Google and Outlook where you can have your assigned tasks visible and manageable in the 3rd party's calendar as well as the RC app. So I can complete a task in the sidebar of Google Calendar as well as the RC app

Create a virtual room for podcast recordings
As a podcaster, one of the biggest challenges I and my co-host face is to get a consistent audio (and video) quality for our show recordings.Since RingCentral already has a robust technology like RC Rooms, I think you folks can replicate the technology to create a virtual room for podcast hosts and guests where the host has the master control to maintain the audio (and video) quality for all participants, like controlling their voluming, muting a participant's background noise, etc.

Preview of the Event Details on RC App Jupiter
With the current RC App Version: 20.3.30.250 Web, 20.3.30.2377 Windows, the user has to click on the event itself to view the event details. This behavior applies to events which run over multiple days.Expected Behavior:User should be able to details (end date of the events) without having to click on the event itself.Reason:Save extra clicks.

Avaya Cloud Phone should share status with MS Teams
We use MS Teams for internal communication and chat. It would be helpful if Teams could show a user as busy if they are on a call on the Avaya app and vice versa

Ability to Delete Video Call Notifications on the RingCentral App
We would like the ability to delete the video notifications in the direct chats on the RingCentral app for data retention purposes. Currently, there is only the option to 'Like' or 'Bookmark' these notifications.

Password History Restriction
The ability to set a password history restriction is not currently in place according to a response I received from RC support. For example, if you set a password expiration and it expires, you can still keep using the same password over and over. This is a fundamental password security control and I'm hoping will be added in a future release.

Ability to customize activation pages for new users
Customer is requesting the ability to customize the activation pages for a new user.They want to remove the downloads page that a new user gets when they go through the activation steps.Kelly pushes out the RC Phone desktop app to the desktop through their Altiris deployment tool. Since they do this, they do not want users to download the application again or to download the RCApp application since they do not use this.
