  1. RingCentral accounts are either charged monthly thru the credit card or invoice. Some contract allows for an annual or 2 years charge but nothing beyond or in between. Some people would just like to pay in advance less or more than the options available today.Example: pay 6 months or 18 months in advance after the next billing date.Would be better if RingCentral is flexible with the payment terms.

  2. If a user is in an appointment, away for an extended period, or on lunch, it would be helpful to forward the calls to a receptionist. Currently the call forwarding feature can only be enabled during specific times. It would be helpful to allow the user to enable call forwarding by changing their status to "do not disturb" or adding a new "call forwarding" status. That way it can be easily enabled when they know they will be away.

  4. The customer service quality is awful and a waste of the customer's time. I'm not sure if it's a lack of training, the representatives are not trained enough on how the platform works or have hard time understand language. It could be a language barrier. Either way, it makes the situation hard in attempt to solve the problem because being on the phone is hard enough. It sounds like they outsource their customer service to other countries without the proper training to provide them, Either way, it is frustrating attempting to get a hold of Ringcentral. For longer and more complex notes it becomes an issue that to read or change a note that it covers the entirety of the desktop app.Allowing it to pop out to a separate window would allow users to reference information sent in messages more easily as well as check and respond to incoming messages without having to save and close the note frequently or work with other text editing apps as intermediaries between RingCentral messages and RingCentral notes.

  7. I would love it if I could receive toast banner notifications alerting me to new incoming message(s) (eg. direct, minitalk, or messages posted to a team). Currently it appears I can only get sound notifications, emails that show up at a 15 minute increment or a getting the Icon to bounce. I currently have my icon set to bounce once. Often times I miss that clue if I turn my head away too long from my screen.   10. I am requesting the shared voicemail box feature on our account, that is currently in open beta. I was told to request this feature to be added to my account by sending a request here. I spoke to Paulo today 02/20/2022 at 3pm est. The support ticket #: 14653341

  11. It is currently not possible to pause or stop recordings when the automatic call recording feature is turned on. We would like to have that ability. The current method to pause or stop a recording is only available with the on-demand (manual) recording process. Our employees may not remember to start a recording every call - and we may have some people who call and do not want to be recorded. The same option to press *9 to pause an on-demand recording should work for automatic recordings.

  13. We are allowed to set and change only the company caller ID, but we have different local numbers for different departments, so we want to set different caller IDs for each local number.

  15. A feature that allows caller's encountering Ring Central voicemail to hit zero to be transferred to an internal extension or an outside number configured by the extension owner. A sample voicemail greeting would be: "Hello, this is Josh, I am away from my desk right now but if you have an emergency you may dial zero to reach me on my cell phone or you can leave a message after the beep and I will return your call".

If a call is forwarded to another extension from the an extension it would be nice to modify the incoming CID on the destination phone.Example:Call comes into extension 150.Extension 150 is set to forward to 170 if 150 doesn't answer.On extension 170 we would like to have the CID modified similar to what is done in Call Queues to indicate call came from another source and not their DID.-Mitch

Until a couple of weeks ago, RingCentral had the ability to search for every time a word appears in an SMS conversation.For example, if I was texting Bob about pizza, I'd be able to see the messages containing "pizza" from yesterday, a week ago, and a month ago.This feature disappeared at some point in the last few weeks, and it's made SMS search pretty useless as a result.Now if I search for "pizza", it just returns the most recent time it was mentioned in my conversation with Bob. There's no way to see when we'd discussed it earlier.Please re-add this…
