  1. With the RC App feature, I thought it would be cool if we could send Video Messages, similar to VoiceMail. This would be great feature to add for the holiday season, or leaving a video message when a person doesn't answer the phone.

  3. Customer is using the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ wireless headset on the RingCentral app. But there are times that it's not working properly. As per Gregory "I can hear the person but they can't here me. Sometimes, I can't hear the person at all." Please check the settings for the said headset with RingCentral Settings or if we can do an update with Samsung Galaxy Buds to avoid this issue.

  4. Right now when we use the feature and customer is leaving a message in french, it takes the french message and put it through email but with the english module, resulting in something impossible to read since it doesn't pick up the right language.

  5. While there isn't any current turnkey solution for this, a user could have the fax notification go to a mailbox that has after hours email rules and the auto reply email could come from there.

  6. We have a lot of location based 'users' aka "X-Ray Tech Area" but there is no actual email for this 'user' as multiple x-ray techs will be using this phone. In order to create a user, an email is required so generic emails are used, but these aren't always necessarily real emails or the correct emails. We'd like 'X-ray Tech Area' and their extension and external line to show in the directory, but not the generic email address used to activate the extension.

  7. Please add the ability to download from the License & Inventory Tab from within the Admin Portal - this will allow us to cross reference between Users and the Licenses assigned to match the invoice statements sent.

  8. Your site boasts accessibility on the app, but what about desk phone? There needs to be enhanced mobility features for the desk top phones from potential screen reader when you press a button (ie press Transfer- it says "transfer") to eliminating the time out on transfer or phone navigation as it is difficult/slow for people with mobility or vision issues to navigate quickly without losing calls.

When someone is dial to the site main number after business hours then the super admin or assigned extension user is receiving this call directly but the extension user is not able to identify the caller from which site number he is receiving this call when you have multiple sites created in RingCentral.

  10. I work with RingCentral App regularly. We often create groups that include many members of my domain and/or other domains. The issue is... the Team Admin must be from the creating organization. Is it possible for the creator of the Team to add Guest Admins from other organizations that can "Add People". This would be a huge help.

  11. We have multiple sites. We can change all of our site names except for our headquarters (which the account is tied to). Like to be able to change 'Main Site' name to our City location.

Yealink T46S firmware used by RingCentral is an older firmware that is not compatible with our user using a Plantronics Voyager UC via Bluetooth connection.Firmware ver 66.85.0.5 is a newer version which we used to have with Vonage which perfectly works the said headset.Please test firmware for compatibility.

  13. Seems a bit odd, so each time RingCentral releases a update for the Chrome Extension we have to tell all our users to change their region back to UK? Seems a bit mad to default to the US, why can't it remember what the setting last was?It affects them calling external numbers, for example they can't call local numbers because the extension doesn't know how to handle the call as it thinks it's in the USA. It only works again when they change it back to UK. So every time the Chrome extension updates all our users are going to…

  14. Add a cheaper license type for digital lines assigned to a phone (not a user)Allow it to use intercom/paging and be part of a queue, but won't need meeting support or eFax This makes sense in offices where phones are shared but hotdesking isn't a good solution.

It would be very helpful in making sales if I could make a new RingCentral system spoof the not-yet-ported or un-portable number of the customer after going through a process of proving that they own the number. Many people will not answer a call from an unfamiliar number, and this is a major sticking point for many of my clients who have otherwise good relationships with their clients.

People in our office are working from home and from the office and when they're in the office, they want calls to ring on the Polycom phone and find it very distracting and inconvenient to have it ringing on their desktops. But they use the desktop app when they are working remotely, so they don't want to remove it from the queue entirely.

  17. In a call center environment managers are made to be on the floor than behind their desks. If an individual is having a hard time on the phone, it would be ideal to help right then and there rather than running back to the desktop to barge in on a call. Cell phones are more mobile and can be carried anywhere.

  18. In the "All Calls" section, having a transferred calls section would be helpful. I answer incoming calls. Knowing what I have done with that call would be nice. I have to keep a monthly call log on paper as to who I transferred it to, if I hung up because it was a dead or sales call, wrong number, etc. In a perfect world I could type in an extension and see how many calls I transferred to that particular extension.
