Have the availability to disable the "Accept Queue Calls" feature in settings
RingCentral does not have the feature to stop reps from turning off the "Accept Queue Calls" button in their settings. When this gets toggled off in their settings their member status in the queue is then turned off. We would like to stop the reps from being able to do this and always have their member status turned on. This way the manger is the only one that can go in and turn them off from getting calls from certain call queues.

Disable incoming calls Manually
I want the option to be able to disable/ enable incoming calls when i want. There are times when i do not wish to receive calls, and spammer, telemarketers, robocalls keep coming in and they consume my calling credits since unanswered calls also go to voice mail which further consumes my calling credits.
Please give us the ability to switch off incoming calls when it is not needed.

Callers in the call queue that's has no caller id or anonymous calls should go directly to vm.
Callers in the call queue that has no caller id or anonymous calls should go directly to voicemail so we can give them a call back, instead of blocking the number

3-way calling or merge icon is not available in the RingCentral Keypad app
3-way calling/merge icon is not available in the Keypad using the app. The option available is only the conferencing which you need to create unlike the 3-way calling you can add participants to a live call. The merge is only available after calling the party and really small.

Include Cisco ATA 191 for Multi-Devices
They would like to include Cisco ATA 191 as a supported device for Multi-Devices especially if they're going to use it for faxing purposes

Enable Transfer to Voicemail even when Extension is set up to forward call or play announcement If no one answers
We'd like to be able to set up our user extensions to ring back to the receptionist team rather than go to voicemail by default, such as when on DND, are on another call, or for any reason can't answer.
Right now we can do this by setting "If no one answers" to "Forward the call" back to reception.
However with the "If no one answers" setting is set that way (to anything other than "Send to voicemail"), the voicemail box is effectively disabled, so when a caller specifically requests to leave that extension a voicemail, the receptionist can no…

Separate ring options for phone calls and Intercom calls, or allow custom for Intercom calls.
Either option would resolve our issue of the intercom feature playing music or ringing before the intercom beep. Our company used an intercom based phone system before switching to ring central and they prefer to use that instead of calling extensions, but when you do it either plays music, or it rings before it beeps. If you turn the ring off, it turns it off for phone calls and intercom call so you just have dead air which is unacceptable in any business. Processing images from the .HEIC and .HEIF formats to be natively displayed in the RC Chat (instead of displayed as attachment)
The RingCentral app currently recognises .HEIC/.HEIF images as attachments and if the other user wants to open/view the image, they have to click Download the file (treated as an attachment).
Going forward there would be more and more devices t hat use these formats so I believe it would be useful to get prepared.
It might also apply for the .HEVC video formats.
The suggestion is to have the RingCentral App to process and display them as native images in the chat.14 votes -

Customer can see their Bluehorn Contacts via the RingCentral desktop/web app. However, they are expecting to view the Bluehorn Mobile Contacts via the RingCentral mobile app, as well.

Capability to ring the user extension or route the call directly to the voicemail
When call was routed to the user extension, we should have the option to ring the user or route the call directly to the voicemail of the user to leave a message.

New Message Teams Not Showing in Mobile App
Right now, when you create a new Message Team, it only shows up in the Desktop App. It does not show up in the Mobile App. In order to see it in the mobile app, you have to send a first message to the Team with the Desktop App. Only then does it become visible in the Mobile App. Please change it so that newly created Teams are visible in the Desktop App AND in the Mobile App.

Allow new Teams to be added in the mobile app
Right now, when a new Team is created in Messaging, it only shows up in the Desktop App. It does not show up in the Mobile App... UNTIL you send the first message to the group using the Desktop App, then it shows up in both apps. Please allow new Teams to be visible in both the Desktop App AND in the mobile app.

uninstall specific versions of the RingCentral Apps in bulk
As of now, you can uninstall all the prior versions of the RingCentral Apps using PowerShell scripts. It would be better if there is a way to do a bulk uninstall of the RingCentral Apps but only for certain prior versions. Not all the prior versions.

View Business Name Under Contact Name
When exchanging SMS we need to know the business name for the contact. Currently only the name is displayed when the contact is already saved and we need to hover around the contact, open profile and then look for the business name.

Text message queue
Im wondering how I can create a group that receives text messages from our main phone number xxx-xxx-xxxx. Is like this group to be able to see the messages and reply back to the messages. For example if one of our sub contractors sends a picture in to the main number of a job completion the group sees it and can reply to it
