    On the mobile app you are online only if the app is active.

  4. It would be great if we could customise how the sync presence between Microsoft teams and Ringcentral works. At the moment you are locked into a state whereby anything other than 'Do Not Disturb' in Microsoft teams still allows incoming calls to reach your extension number in Ringcentral. I believe it would be nice to customise how the different states in Teams change the states in Ringcentral. For example, setting it so that a busy state in Microsoft teams also changes the Ringcentral state to 'do not disturb'.

  5. Currently when you apply a key template this overwrites any custom presence keys we have applied for the users. We would like to apply a key template without overriding existing presence keys.

  7. Feature Request : Have option to adjust Off Hook Timeout for Cisco ATA devices

    Details : currently no option to adjust the timer when the phone connected to the ATA device is off hook causing it to timeout after 20 sec we need to have the option to adjust and customize the timer to allow longer or shorter time when idle

    Current behavior : off hook times out after a few seconds it being idle

  8. It seems odd that there has to be a specific manner in which a transfer is done for the external caller ID to follow the transfer. Logic would suggest that when you push the transfer button, the caller ID data will go with the transfer being at "warm" (speak with the receiving party before transferring) transfer or a "cold" (just transferring without speaking to the receiving party) transfer. Having to use the "##" option to transfer, which was not identified in any documentation that I could find to be the way to transfer, is greatly inconvenient. Upon learning about the…

  10. When we were under Nextiva we set up geo-routing for the TFN phone number for Sales. if a person called from the southeast US, it would route to Georgia Sales, if the call from the Midwest, it would route to East Chicago. Everywhere else would route to South Plainfield.

  11. From RC App, when I go to Phone > Calls to check the call history, I want the Call and Text icons to be available. When I hover over my cursor to my External Contacts from Call History, it only shows Message and Video even if they don't use RingCentral App.

    When viewing the phone app and communicating with someone who doesn't have RingCentral, users want the ability to communicate directly (call or text) instead of being notified to encourage contacts to become RingCentral users.

  15. I would like to continue receiving email notifications for direct messages, even if there is activity in the app, as long as the message hasn't been seen or opened within 15 minutes. In that case, the email notification should be sent after the 15-minute window has passed.

  19. Resetting Profile Picture/Avatar as Administrator

    As an administrator of RingCentral in our environment, we regularly have new users who are assigned an existing RingCentral account that belonged to an old employee, because it is much easier than deleting/re-creating for every termination or new user.

    In some instances, the old employee will have set their profile picture, and there is seemingly no way for us to reset this without logging into their RingCentral account (or having them do it themselves).

    I have done research, and couldn't find a way to reset a user's picture from the Admin/Service portal. Is there any…
