  1. The TTS voice sounds very robotic and hard to understand at times. With all the advances in AI, there should be some way of improving this. Not looking for anything hyper realistic, but I think anything would be an improvement over the current one.

  2. Print to fax directly from the browser or other application using RC App print to fax plug-in

    When using the old RC Phone App (Spartan) by printing directly from multiple browsers, the attachment will just add up (normal)

    When using the New RC App Glip (Jupiter) by printing directly from multiple browsers, the attachment will replace the previous attachment (not normal)
    In ther words, only 1 attachment is allowed at a time.

    Customer requested that if possible to mirror the functionality of RC Phone app print to fax plug-in

  3. The customer wants to avoid posting a message in the wrong group, and they think Folders would help prevent that. From what the customer can tell, it only applies to him when he moves teams to folders. Wants to have a way to set this up globally so it applies to everyone's login.

  4. Currently if an account received an SMS from a short code number that matches an Extension number in the account, it shows like its an SMS from an Ext in the account.

    Usually you cannot reply from a short code SMS
    but if it happens to match the from to an Ext number you will be able to reply from it and SMs will be sent to that User ext

  6. The customer wants to delete the default name and phone number from the voicemail settings when customizing voicemail greetings. When using this option, the RingCentral system calls the number you specify, and you simply follow the prompts to record your greeting. However, the details of the last person who used this feature remain saved, and there is currently no way to delete them unless you enter another number. The customer wants the option to delete these details without having to provide a new number.

  10. The customer would like the call forwarding from his Google Voice number to RingCentral call queue extension direct number to work. Currently it rings the call queue members but when call is answered - it is just silent. It worked on user extension but never for call queue extension.

  11. When a phone number is out of service., the caller should receive a voice notification saysing "There is no connection for the number you have dialled, please contact directory inquiries" - "Die von Ihnen gewählte Rufnummer ist nicht vergeben, bitte rufen Sie die Auskunft an."

    At the moment there is only a busy tone or something comparable played down leaving the caller in an unsatisfying user experience (Callers in Germany are used to this announcement).

    Requesting the ability to assign a specific user, extension, or location to handle key press "0" when a caller dials a user extension directly (i.e., not routed via a Call Queue, IVR Menu, or Operator Extension).

    Current Behavior:
    At present, key press 0 routing is only configurable for the following:

    Call Queues

    IVR Menus

    Operator Extensions

  13. Currently there is only one way to change "This call is being recorded" message that will apply to all your locations within the admin portal. If you have locations with different names and would like to create a custom message for the different locations, there is currently no way to do so. I would like a way to edit a specific location with its own message that the callers hear when dialing their main numbers.

  18. Physical Hardware Panic Button

    We would like to have a hardware button that serves as a "Panic Button"
    The goal is to have something to press in discreet in case of an emergency.
    This button will then dial a direct call to a programmed number that will trigger at alert/alarm.

    Most importantly, it:

    Encourages timely replies: Knowing the sender can see when they've read a message may prompt faster responses.
