Make Text Highlighting Actually "Work"
In the new RingCentral desktop app, when RC identifies a number as a phone number (mostly incorrectly), it's very difficult to actually click-and-drag style highlight that number to copy and paste (I think because of the call, text pop-up that happens). It's impossible to select only a part of the number for the same reason. Double clicking works to select the whole thing, but this deviation from standard UI practices (and from the Classic version app behavior) is jarring.

Persistent presence 'dots' on Messages/Team chat/Contacts windows.
Still new to RC and exploring about - and finding that certain items, while seemingly logical, aren't programmed in. (Well, 98% programmed...)What I mean by this is there are the Presence 'dots' (status colors) for when you are seeing the users under Direct Messages displayed under Messages. green/gray/red/etc. As well as in other areas on the RC app.If the screen is set to show the Team members (the Pinned/Files/Images - sidebar) - why do the Dots not show up. Presence (or HUD) available on the RingCentral Mobile App so that I can answer a call on behalf of someone
I am unable to answer phone calls on behalf of my manager when using the any of the mobile apps; it does not work on the 'RingCentral Phone' or 'RingCentral Unified'. I am working phone home and need to be able to answer calls on my mobile phone.

Call Queue Greeting not count towards queue time
I would like the call queue greeting to play before being transferred into the queue and not calculate as part of the time being in the queue. Right now, the time they spend listening to the "greeting" calculates in the average speed of answer.

Priority option for queues.
I would like to see the ability to set priorities for queues. For example, those calling for new orders/sales, that queue gets answered in front of those in queue checking the status of their order. I can see this being beneficial for a lot of companies. Those calling to order a tow truck for the first time, needs to be answered before someone checking the status of where the tow truck is, for example. Disable entering extension when the call has gone to a voicemail message.
If an external call dials a direct line on your numbers list, it shouldn't have the ability to transfer to any extension on your extensions list. I had an external number dial a direct line that goes straight to voicemail, but they were able to hit certain keys on their numpad that redirected them to a call queue that has no relation to the direct line they dialed. That should not be possible in my opinion.

Need ability to re-assign task
Every day I (as the owner) get new matters that I need to deal with - I don't assign them immediately to any particular employee because I need to deal with preliminary matters first. But I create the task so I don't forget it. Now when it comes time to assign to an employee - I cannot -- YOU NEED THIS FUNCTION - the ability to assign tasks to new employees AFTER THE FACT - what if an employee leaves or becomes sick and you need to put another employee on the task, at least temporarily. Allow Use of any Number as Caller ID by Any User from Any Site
We would like to the ability to use any number we own in our system as caller ID for any user, regardless of which site they are associated with. When Multi-Site settings are in use, only numbers associated with Company Site can be shared across the system for use as caller ID.

Privacy Issues
A default company team was created at the creation of the account. The use of this team chat was abandoned as there was limited control of users. However, every new employee that joins the company has access to this old team chat, which contains former employee names and all past conversations. That makes no sense from a privacy or security stand point. I cant believe RC has not addressed this yet.

Allow forwarding of reserved non-emergency numbers (I.e. 311) to local authority
It would be useful if we were allowed to forward non-emergency informational numbers, like 211 and 311, to their respective 10 digit alternates for our area. Currently these are reserved extensions in the same way 911 is, we get the error as detailed here when trying to configure this: https://support.ringcentral.com/article/4455.html - I'd also checked with RC support who confirmed it is not possible to connect them up in this way.Currently if 211 or 311 is dialed from our account, it returns an "Invalid extension" response. Ability to disable "Announce Yourself" for merged calls
The previous app version did not have this and the ability to quickly merge calls was easy and convenient and important to my business. The new step adding the prompt asking to announce yourself to a call I've already started and made the call to a specific individual is unnecessary and frustrating as the user and the party joining the call. I understand this option for a conference call where you have multiple people joining the call but that's why there's a Conference Call number to dial in.

Hi there, i basically have 3 extensions on my account (admin one and dispatch team) the problem is that the dispatches can t see the calls that are being directed to the numbers i have. Same problem with recordings...can you guys add the recordings in all of my extensions and the ringcentral phone app...? please...its really important

Caller ID and Contact Lists assigned to a Group
When having the main line forward to a group that rings out to certain users it should be able to also display the caller ID. It is extremely disappointing that this doesn't already exist as the phone number ID is displayed in the same situation making it difficult to understand why the caller ID name would not be displayed. In fact the inflexibility of programing groups is extremely frustrating. This shouldnt have to be developed, this should already by a feature.

Admin portal - request for administrators to be able to restrict the choice of Caller IDs (CLIs) in user extensions
Scenario:
If a user is permitted to select their own CLis (outbound caller ID setting enabled in their role), they can chose from a list of number in their App when they make outbound calls. This list consists of
-their user DL number
-their site number (if any)
- the direct number of any call queues they are a member of
- the main company number
-any unassigned company number in the system

Ability to remove the deleted users from the performance report
We want to have an option in the performance report to permanently remove a deleted user/group extension from the list, currently there is no option to do it and it's a bit annoying to do an extra step just to exclude this deleted user/group from the report, or once the user/group extension is deleted the performance report will sync the changes automatically.

RingCentral App - Task Subjects
Tasks are a great tool for organization and communication within the unified RingCentral App. The RingCentral Classic app has the ability to add a subject line to new tasks while the new RingCentral App does not have this ability.
