  1. Instead of trusting all employees who are RingCentral app users to set their own app settings appropriately, administrators need to be able to control those settings through the Admin Portal.

  2. I'm a member of 12 million teams (kidding but not), have 12 employees and 100+ coworkers who are all RingCentral addicts. It is enormously difficult to keep track of all of this and still get some REAL work done. Bold and color options would help me (and my coworkers) keep track of everything we have going. If you use this idea, can I please have a tshirt? XL! Thank you for your consideration!

  4. A number of our users have complained about the 4 screens they have to go through just to login on both the RC Desktop and RC mobile apps. First picking Sign In, then a screen with how to sign in, then your e-mail/phone number, then finally your password on the 4th screen. If there's some way to combine some of these things to get it down to 2 or even 1 screen that would be great.

My customer uses a 7 digit ticketing number system for their IT department helpdesk and when Ticket numbers are being sent via Message in our Unified app, the ticket numbers are getting converted to Phone number call hyperlinks. This is an issue as they want to prevent our app from converting 7 digits to launch a phone call as they want to be able to highlight and copy the number to search in their internal ticket system data base. Can we make it an option to turn off 7 digit auto link to phone numbers or disable all together?

Ring Central "Classic" would show the icon from a status next to the user name in the left hand column of the app. Hovering over the icon would show the status text (including custom status text). This is not implemented in the new Ring Central App.As we are all working remotely we find this was a good feature. I can tell if someone is simply "out of office", or even "Running" or "Having Lunch".This is NOT the same as DND, it conveys much more information and DND affects other behaviours too.Please re-implement this missing feature in the new Ring Central…

  7. You should not have to keep the app up AND YOUR PHONE SCREEN ON for 10 hours a day in order for you to continue to show as Available during working hours. Who has the battery life for that? As soon as you put your phone down and click the screen dark, you go to Invisible or Unavailable or some nonsense. What good is that? Of course you’re not unavailable: as soon as you get pinged, you get a notification.

  8. RingCentral office should make it clear on the Admin portal what it can and cannot do for subscriptions and recurring reports for Queue Management. It seems like a very simple function that should have been included as part of the reporting analytics, user breakdown within individual queues, not each dept has to see the analytics for teams outside of their own. And scheduling recurring reports for each queue to view their performance seems like a basic report Admins should be able to provide and generate easily without manipulating excel reports to share that info.

  9. While working remotely or in different offices, when receiving new calls, we individually add a new contact name, number and email. Yet this is not shared to the other users on our team. We were informed the procedure is to export and then import regularly, and then repeat to/from each team member? This is very time consuming and inefficient.

  13. Allow a dropdown on the Phone icon in the app, to choose with line to call that is tied to the user's profile. Currently, if we wish to dial the Mobile Phone on the account, it takes several additional/complex clicks to get there.

  15. At present users are receiving emails from an admin's name they do not recognise and it does not look professional (almost spam). Please allow us to hardcode the name within the email so it looks more familiar. E.g. Hi xxxYour IT Team are inviting you to join RingCentral MVP.

  16. At present, vital information is being missed from the Audit log where there have been API calls that have made changes. It makes identifying issues on either the customer API or RC side much more difficult.

  17. Currently the only options on RingCentral appear to be either automatic recording inbound calls and/or outbound calls OR on demand recording of inbound and/or outbound calls. The problem with this, is that it appears that RIngCentral treats even internal calls (extension to extension) as an inbound or outbound call and records these conversations. Our organization has never recorded internal calls from our employees as it feels a bit like "big brother" and we frankly do not need this option. There should be an option to allow us the option to choose to not record these internal calls unless we so…

  18. We are in a large enterprise where RC Phone licenses are often recycled. While it is true that with due diligence a terminated employee would be removed from their ring groups, this doesn't happen yet as often as it should. So, their license is disabled and deleted into the unassigned extensions bin. Then a new employee in a different state acquires THAT unused license, with a new phone number and new extension. And now one of the phones in office B is ringing when someone calls office A (original ring group). That phone app at office B also rings when…

  19. Teams, Voice, Phone, and all of my other audio apps can interface with my car's built-in UConnect audio system, but not RingCentral.It would be really neat if RingCentral added this support so I don't have to take RingCentral calls on speaker.

  20. It would be helpful if I was able to create folders on the fax tab to separate faxes by day month and even year as well as importance of the received fax. This will be helpful in terms of not deleting previous faxes that have been received and not printing out the faxes as we are trying to be paperless.
