  1. When my RC app is minimized in my mobile phone screen or the mobile phone is on standby, the RC"app status" is grey (invisible). This "app status" in displayed to other agents when they try to transfer a call to me. This is confusing for them. Only when I open my app does my true"User status"(available, in a meeting, do not disturb) displays to other agents.

Hi, It would be best if the call forwarding members of another extension would have the ability to use To Voicemail when the calls ring on their RC Phone desktop app. Right now, To Voicemail option is only available if the call is to their direct extension, but if they are within another users forwarding list it is Greyed out. Thank you.

  4. We have common vendors that everyone should have on their phone. Everyone would have to add these as contacts manual (even if its in a bulk upload). It would be nice if there was a way to give this power to an admin and have a 'global' address book that someone load on behalf for a select user group.

  5. We have a lot of location based 'users' aka "X-Ray Tech Area" but there is no actual email for this 'user' as multiple x-ray techs will be using this phone. In order to create a user, an email is required so generic emails are used, but these aren't always necessarily real emails or the correct emails. We'd like 'X-ray Tech Area' and their extension and external line to show in the directory, but not the generic email address used to activate the extension.

  6. Some 'users' are created strictly for forwarding to call queue purposes. Some call queues are setup strictly for routing purposes and do not need to be cluttering up directory causing confusion for users.

  9. When an account is deleted there should be a 15 day data retention policy in place in case of mistaken deletion, or for auditing purposes.

  12. When sending a fax through the RC app there is only an option for the sender's fax number, cover page, note and attachment. There isn't an option for the recipient's To, Company and Phone. If you want to add this info you need to add it to the Notes section at the bottom of the cover page which doesn't look as professional.

  13. All users of RingCentral App for desktop would benefit. Include the ability to forward a voice mail message to another user on the system. Current options only allow download but no forward. The option exists in the call log on the web to forward but not in the app.

  14. We need a way for our receptionists to use the RingCentral App to monitor and answer calls for their department directors. This is only available using the RingCentral Phone however the rest of our institution is using the RingCentral App for desktop(glip).
