  1. In the admin call log add inbound and outbound SMS messages. It would be nice to see who is texting and what is being said while looking at all of the calls/faxes made.

Whenever we schedule a meeting using RCV plugin in Outlook on an existing email thread, the invite is being added on the thread, however, it is placed at the bottom of the thread instead of the top. This causes issues because although the recipients can see the link they are not able to see the other invite details right away like the dial-in number. This issue is not happening when scheduling a meeting using the RCM plugin in Outlook. When we use RCM plugin and schedule a meeting the invite is already on top of the email thread.

  3. Reduce prompt played to 1 time in general IVR setting before its transferred to an extension. We work with older clients and for them to listen to prompt three times and wait to get to an extension is painful

  4. Right now the option under a Call Queue "When members are available, but no members answer or all members are busy or unavailable " can only be set to "wait". My customer just wanted to have an option that when the member is on DND they can route the call to an IVR, which make sense.

When you click on that "click here" link, from an email notification that you've received a text, it actually takes you to: https://www.ringcentral.com/apps/p/ringcentral-apps (which has nothing to do with where you really want to be), which is here: https://app.ringcentral.com/phone/sms . The link in the email notification cited above takes you to "Ring Central App Gallery". I'll trade you my kingdom for this streamlined simplicity ;p).....

  7. ...to toggle over to the Messages tab.. While on the phone tab on ring central application it would be nice to see if my other team members are on the phone, instead of having to toggle over to the Messages tab

  8. When I create custom call handling rules for Holiday, department meetings, down days etc, it would be great if they could be copied, imported/exported. It is a pain to create 15 renditions of the same rule

  10. Periodically, we have a need to transfer to an internal employee's cell phone, or secondary phone number. It would be great to add those additional lines to the saved contacts. Please add this feature!

  12. Working at an animal hospital, we get calls from senders wanting a confirmation that the fac was received. We also get many pharmacy requests and I think having a confirmation auto reply and being able to add a custome message like “We are currently understaffed and focusing on the patients in the hospitals. Fax requests will now have a 48-72 hour turn around time.” would be extremely beneficial. The ability to customize the auto reply message to your needs makes this added feature beneficial to any industry using the fax app.

I hope we can add the TTS option / typing box inside the Admin portal 's Auto receptionist > company greeting > custom - as an option too aside from recording and uploading an mp3/wav Text to speech recording. Customers should have a built in box there to type Text to speech instead of doing the lengthy workaround of TTS via IVR menus - specially when they don't want to do key presses or select extensions - but just do a Company greeting via text to speech.

  14. Participant sort list seems random, should be able to sort by alpha, surname, who's unmuted/talking, etc. Seems to be a huge missing feature. Additionally, the fact that the participant list seems to randomly change order is problematic when trying to use the list.

  17. Currently, if you double-click a phone number in the call history on the desktop app it initiates the call via the computer. Looking for method where it will initiate the call on the desktop phone instead. Need to use desktop phone for the call and have ability to mute computer so that other applications are not interrupting the call (also preference to use the phone for speaker phone mic). Only option I've found so far is to instead manually type phone numbers, which is inefficient compared to other tools used in past.

    Hi everyone, Call duration and multiple columns to see more contacts are now live in app! Correct status is planned to be implemented by end of June. Complete parity is still being worked towards. Thanks everyone.
  20. Subscribers that have relationship with Google or a third-party using Google for advertising purposes been having call forwarding issue. Subscribers need to reach back to their advertising vendor or Google directly to disable call forwarding rule.
