In previous RingCentral DialPad versions, my caller ID remained viewable throughout an active phone call.On this newer version (Web: 22.3.30.1620 2022-09-19 17:44:15), I was hunting for my caller ID while I was on an active call. In the conversation, a conference call was placed to a third party; then, a voice message was needed. In the voice message, I fumbled with leaving my callback number.   9. We have several departments that need to update their IVR Greetings regularly, and having them have to record the greeting then submit a case is time consuming. It would be beneficial if the IVR Menus would have a PIN that the appropriate users can log into the IVR extension to update the greeting.

  10. It would be very helpful to be able to change another user's presence from the admin portal. For example, if a user marks themselves as DND and then leaves for vacation without including in theis status note that they're on vacation, it is assumed that they are in the office, but unavailable at this moment. VS being offline, and not available because they're out of the office for the day. At this time, we currently remote into the user's system to update, or, change their password while they're out, to log in as them, and update that way. Very clunky…

Users will be able to set up speed dial for supported phones easily, this makes communication faster and easier for large companies.A customer actually had the option available and was able to set up the speed dial on a Poly VVX 450, and a couple of days later, the option is no longer available.

  14. We have experienced several instances where making changes to the text-to-speech content in our IVR menus does not actually apply. The changes are saved but they do not apply and we have to copy/paste the content back in a couple of times to finally get the change to commit.We do not raise support requests for this issue anymore because the engineers just tell us to stop using text-to-speech, but what they do not understand is that we a large customer, text-to-speech is the best option for us because we have over 400 IVR menus and using audio recordings and dealing…

  15. External caller transferred to an extension that would just ring a pager and hang up.We have a phone line displayed outside of our shop that a truck driver can call from their cell phone. The idea would be that the driver enters an IVR menu and is promted to press 1 (helps avoid spam too.)   17. We have many departments that have more than one message they want to play while a caller is on hold. I think having the option to add more than one Interrupt Prompt would be very useful to those departments that have multiple messages they would like to give callers.

  18. Currently, RingCentral does not allow users to access free conference call lines through their phones or through the RingCentral mobile app. This is a suggestion to grant users the ability to host conference calls using RingCentral devices.

Before the end of September 2022, the enter key of the NUMPAD used to work when dialing on the RING Central Desktop app. For example, you dial the number on the dial pad and then press enter on the numpad. This is greatly effecient for many of us that make frequent calls because we would use the numpad to dial the number then enter to dial the number. Easy. Now the feature is gone, with no replacing feature. Why? There is no reason to remove it. Please reinstate it.

  20. If you program park keys as a presence key there is no park hold recall timer. Ring Central only offers park hold recall for global park keys and not for the presence park keys.
