  1. Some users never setup e-mail or look at txt messages the admins should have the option to be able to clean up these messages. would be also nice to have a sort options to list whom has the most saved or not viewed messages to see what clean up might be needed

  2. there should be a one click option to re-assign a new user to an ext. this would automate the clearing of voice mail, txt and other thing and then allow you to just enter in the new user info (name) and new e-mail address and then you can send new invite to activate the new user

  3. When Ringcentral and Microsoft Teams are running side by side, Ringcentral desktop App will have errors asking users to allow microphone access. Not sure if this is something that could be fixed on the Ringcentral side.

  4. Currently, when using a multi-level IVR menu, e are forced to allow the base prompt to repeast three times before triggering a call exception when the caller does not press a button. This should be updated to the account admins can pick a number from a drop-down. These days it is very common for IVR prompts to say "Or remain on the line adn someone will help you." This is often necessary for ADA compliance.

  5. Toggling 'Tips' on and off from the Resource Center within the application would benefit more advanced computer users that don't require (or want) a tutorial through the application's usage/features.

  6. The pop-up you get over your mouse when rolling over a number in the RC Application can be annoying. It prompts you to 'Call, Text, Add Contact' and most people don't utilize that. a Toggle Option would be appreciated.

  9. As you cannot currently see what templates have been applied to a user you cannot see which settings are currently being managed for that user by template. This should be similar to the roles where you can see which one is applied

  10. EU would like them to have the ability to receive a confirmation page that the fax was received by the recipient. It is specifically an image of the page that was faxed on the confirmation page.

  12. Currently, Glip tasks with multiple users assigned have a progress bar. Most of our users reported they did not know where to go to check off that they completed their part. There needs to be more information given to the user to let them know that they need to click on the status icon to update their part of completion status. for that group task.

  13. When deleting a number from an unassigned extension with a phone, it leaves an unassigned user called ext. with no device assigned. There is no way to attach a phone number from inventory to that extension without a device. To associate a phone number as an unassigned extension an admin would need to delete those unassigned extensions without devices then add the new unassigned extension and select the previous number from inventory to attach. That process also involves choosing a shipping method even if the phone is a softphone. It seems very counterintuitive. Suggest not requiring shipping if softphone is…

On a new account with desk phones assigned to unassigned numbers, the process of getting an assigned extension with a softphone to have a desk phone from assigned to an unassigned extension is counter intuitive and very difficult. It currently involves assigning the unassigned extension with desk phone to a new or existing user, swapping the desk phone for a softphone (to send the desk phone to inventory), deleting the attached phone number (to send to inventory), then going into the softphone and swapping with the unassigned desk phone in inventory.   15. To receive messaging, the app needs to run, but it does not need to run in the foreground upon computer login. Please add a setting option to be able to start the program in the tray area. MS Teams has this option and it is very useful.

  16. It would be nice to have a setting to allow all calls to go to voicemail when in meetings, whether they are virtual RC meetings or in person meetings so anything in say a synced Outlook calendar would be able to set phones to DND.

We recently were informed that a user received a fraud attempt via text message to her RingCentral number, but we have no way to search our system for any others who may have received this message to take corrective action. This would be a very useful feature as more communication is done via text channels and fraud attempts are on the rise.

  20. When making the Ring For settings on a user's account the options don't work like they are described. In our case most users have a physical phone and a desktop app, and setting the app to Ring For 0 rings for 0 seconds does NOT do that. Worse, any setting other than 0/0 results in the physical phone ringing after a delay, but 3/15 (and all higher settings) does not.
