  1. managing text and voicemail messages in the app is seriously lacking any features other than Delete! No archive or folder management. We need to be able to mark messages for follow-up, etc. Folders alone would allow this.

  2. allowing all users to see and interact with SMS messages - I own an insurance agency, so when customers text the office, it would make it much easier if both myself and my employee(s) would be able to see those messages.

  3. I would like the ability to give users access to specific IVRs that they can manage on their own (update button presses and recordings), but I don't necessarily want to give them access to all IVRs in the system, so the ability to set this on a per-IVR basis would be preferred.

  4. When on PTO/ annual leave even though you can change the status to say that you're out of office sometimes people do not see this and send messages and try to chase up. It would be great if there could be an automatic reply (like you can do with email) to tell someone you're out of office or a pop up on the top of the screen. Microsoft Teams has this feature so it would be great if we could do something similar.

  5. have a setting to specify after xx days to auto delete voice mails. Many people use the voice mail to e-mail option to get their voice mail but never clean up the actual voice mail box. Add an option per user to delete voice mails after xx days 30 or 90

  6. See with having only the operator having the company text then if they are gone we have to use our line and then the customer gets our number and stops calling the main number

  7. For employees that are working from home and have varied networks and providers. A tool that will test their ability to use phone and contact center applications from home. Could even be used for test a new remote branch even. Would test things like QOS, Bandwidth speeds, SIP ALG etc. if failed in a certain test on the call could provider links or direction on next steps to look at.

  8. We work with multiple clients that have different sites, and I am sure many other RingCentral customers do as well. The global directory adds all phone numbers in the company to the directory, however our sites would benefit greatly from having Contact Groups that are specific to their site. Having the ability in the admin center to create different contact groups and apply them to different users/sites would be very beneficial.

  10. When a person is on DND in DSSKey it still shows them as Green. If we could change this to red when the person is on DND it would keep us from transferring calls to someone out of office. Also, it allows supervisors of employees to see when they are away without having to go into the app.

  12. I would like to propose a way to make uploaded greeting prompts and messages availble to admins. While we can push out hold music and greeting settings to users via templates, I would like to see admins have the ability to make custom greetings, audio while waiting, and hold music available to select universally.Once a custom greeting or hold message is uploaded by an admin, it would be a selectable option when updated Queues, extensions, and user accounts. There are scenarios of outbound calls in which, during the process of connecting to an external called party, the connection to receive either ringing or audio from the far-end system for whatever reason is not made so it defaults to playing the configured hold music/custom prompt of the RingCentral extension that is placing the call instead. This creates confusion with users that experience this behavior.   14. It would be nice if we could customize the dial pad and move "Hold" and/or "Transfer" out of the "More" options, onto the main pad, if we didn't use some of the options in the main pad as much. Similar to the browser version of the dial pad, where those are just on the main pad, not buried.

  15. The ability for admins of a Team/ Group should be able to change the group / teams display image / icon. The group/ teams has a genetic dotted icon and all teams have the same icon. It would be great to have the ability to change this icon and add a cover image or photo. Even the ability to change colors of icon.

So it would be nice to have an option where you can make a generic key template and have the user save that template so that it could be used when a new phone gets added or a new user gets hired and the IT guy doesn't have to add each extension 1 at a time. For a big company that is growing and hiring this can be a very daunting task!

  17. Would be so helpful if there was a pre-message that could be recorded before it forwards to the person. For example, I go on vacation, forward my calls to Deana. If the caller calls my line it says, "I am out of the office, you are being forwarded to Deana who is covering my lines until my return June 30th", then it connects the forward and goes to Deana.

I believe it would be beneficial for any supervisor to be able to change their subordinate's custom status AND availability (Available/DND/Invisible).For example, if an individual is out sick abruptly and commonly gets support calls directly, as a supervisor, I'd like to set their status to "Out of the Office" so others know and don't waste time trying to call them.
