When colleagues leave the company, any direct messages with them and/or with other people disappears from the left panel in the desktop app. The only way to find it is to search for a keyword in the conversation and then open that conversation from search results. This is very tedious to do each time we need to refer to it. I've tried to convert it to a team but that option is not present on conversations with terminated employees. In the RingCentral App, it would be really beneficial to have the ability to turn off calendar notifications so that entries which exist in the original calendar (Outlook, Gmail) don't send a duplicate notification in Ring Central. At this point, the only way to prevent this is to unlink the calendar (removing the ability to create meeting invites from Ring Central) or mute all notifications (making the soft phone functionality unusuable)

  3. We have several users that have impromptu conference calls. They are requesting the ability to see who is on the call and then have the ability to drop callers as their part of the call is over. Currently, to insure that a caller that should not be privy to additional details, they have to drop the entire call and then start a new conference call with the smaller group.

  4. Users with Desk phones will have access to Call Queue voicemailsFor example, we have a call queue with custom rules to send calls to different users. If a caller leaves a voicemail it should go to the intended recipient of the call queue (or at least to the voicemail box of all managers assigned to the call queue)

  6. We use Cisco 8861 desk phones. When a call is on hold after pressing the transfer option, if you decide to use the Contacts button to search for a contact, you must press that button, pick what directory to search, enter in your search parameters, press the search button, wait for the results then choose the result you want and press call all within 12 seconds.   8. The previous app version did not have this and the ability to quickly merge calls was easy and convenient and important to my business. The new step adding the prompt asking to announce yourself to a call I've already started and made the call to a specific individual is unnecessary and frustrating as the user and the party joining the call. I understand this option for a conference call where you have multiple people joining the call but that's why there's a Conference Call number to dial in.

  10. I notice that between logging off or using more than one style Ringcentral app; that the setting sill revert to a default. Toggle for headset controls turns off after logging back in as an example.

  11. I am disabled and as a result I rely on my recording to keep up with the conversations I have with my customers. I can not do written due to my disability. Any chance RingCentral and make a special arangment for disabled people to keep the recording for one year instead of 3 months?

  14. "Modern" call pickup functionality. If you have to build a group, then put people in that group. Anyone in that group should just hit a button or code, to answer any ringing phone in that group. Having to enter the extension is redundant and excessive. If you are in a cube farm, you don't know what ext is ringing.

  15. I often refer back to past chats with colleagues and it is very difficult to scroll through the messages with precision using the app (Windows version). First of all, unless I am in tablet mode, it is very hard to grab the scroll handle so you can scroll backwards and forwards. It is never where you left it either.   17. We spend all day in a meeting together since we can't go into the office. We have a lot of daily communication we have to do. However, the click to dial feature would save us a ton of time because we place a minimum of 50 calls a day. So it would great to 1. click to dial 2. pop up box come up to ask whether we want to do the call via cellphone app or desktop app

  18. The old windows RingCentral App that is about to be retired has a very pleasing Smart Phone like text messaging that the new RingCentral App does not offer. Please allow for the New RingCentral App to be configured by the user so the user only sees what they want to see. Cost analysis is very important for us and I would really like to see an analysis tool where we can access and create visualisations of usage/spend, estimated forcast and create custom charts based on spend by resource type (e.g. Standard DigitalLine or Live Reports), cost centre or site or where the name contains a pattern.
