Be able to classify in folders the user settings templates
Currently all "User settings templates" can be sort by name, created date.. which requires to have a naming convention to find the good templates.
Is it possible to be able the classify the user template under folders and subfolders.
For example if I have several user settings template to manage all bank holiday then I can put all of them in the same subfolder.It will be much easier to manager the templates like that.

Have a setting where ONLY Admin can change user's passwords, or password changes have to go through ADMIN
Only allow for password changes for users through the Admin Portal or have to go through Admin to make password changes

Automatic Call Recording
For Automatic Call Recording in UC, it would be nice to have a separate message played for inbound calls and outbound calls. For example, when someone calls into an extension that has inbound calls recorded, the get one message. When someone calls out on an extension that has their outbound calls recorded, we could have a different message that states Who is calling and then after informing them of calls being recorded. If they know who is calling, then we may not have as many hangups.

Generate unique passcode via API
There should be an API call to allow a unique code to be generated in RingCentral that can be displayed on our website to certain logged in customers. When a customer calls our phone number and selects a certain extension, this code will be required as a password. The code should be viable for, say 5 mins.

Allow an admin to add a second site and allow the site name to show up on the app.
If I have to two companies sharing an instance, I would like to have the company setup, two or more sites in the company then allow the site name to show up in the app for each site.

Ability for Super Admins to enable users on Not Activated Status
Some accounts need the ability for Super Admins to enable users on Not Activated Status. Newly added users take a while for their extensions to be activated/set up but Super Admins need them enabled already for some features to be available like adding them on corporate directory.

performance reports
To get daily Performance reports via subscription there has to be a saved performance report with the preset date of Yesterday and not a customized date otherwise, we will receive the same data every day.
However, some businesses run business on a certain time like from 8 AM today to 7:59 AM the following day and we need to receive daily reports from those hours not 12 AM to 11:59 AM. The Yesterday option for saved performance reports is not going to work based on the company's needs.

Allow a "per line" option when adding details via the Contacts "notes" field
Our customer wants to be able to include via the "notes" field : the person's name , extension and email within their business contacts
When adding contacts via RC app , on the notes field of edit contact they want to be able to save the details like this example below:

Allow multiple participants in conference call using Mitel phone
With MITEL, was able to do conference call with multiple people that allows more than 3 participants. When switched to RingCentral, can only do up to 3 people including the initiator. With RingCentral, call the first person, hit conference button, dial the second person, then hit the conference button again to join. Then, after this conference button disappears and there is even no option to add more person in the call.

Disable the display of External Shared Contacts directory contacts to a group of users.
Is there any way to disable the display of External Shared Contacts directory contacts to a group of users ?
I currently use the external shared contacts of Google (it a check box to enble) but the sync has troubles (+20k contacts). I would like to use the External Shared Contacts directory from ringCentral Directory integration but not all of our users need it.7 votes -
The cover page generated by RC contains crucial transmission details and needs to be received by the sender as an option.
The cover page generated by RingCentral contains crucial transmission details (sender info, recipient info, date/time, subject, number of pages) that aren't always fully replicated in the same format on the basic status confirmation report. The users want proof of what was sent, including the RingCentral's generated cover-page details. We currently receive fax status confirmation through email, would it be possible to include the server's generated cover page along with the transmission confirmation status report from our sent faxes?

Add a time frame to DND status
We need the ability to add a timer to DND setting. We have users who set this when on meetings or at lunch, but then they forget to change their status as available affecting the phone queues for everyone. The ability to clear the status after a selected time frame would be greatly appreciated so that it's not reliant on manual updates.
