completely separate the RC Deployment Tool from the App
The RC Deployment Tool should be a completely separate entity and not tied to any one version of the RC Desktop App. There is a new 'tool' released with each new RC App release.
This tool is supposed to help the administrators by letting the RC App update itself automatically. However, the FAQ states that the Deployment Tool should also be updated once a quarter which again requires admin attention and defeats much of the purpose of the tool. Especially since that's about how often we were updating the RC app anyway!

Lock email from end user updates
We would like to remove the ability for end users to change their email address on their accounts. We use SSO to log in and when users update the email incorrectly, it breaks the SSO login. It would be global, not just US.

Ability to keep phone calls within RC app only (no pop up separate window) like RC phone app
When I upgraded from RC Phone app to unified RC App, I noticed that active calls would pop up in a separate window. I don't want calls to pop up in a separate window because it causes clutter and makes it harder to get to the active call in order to manage.

Main Line Ringing Multiple phones
We have several phones in common areas that should also be able to ring and be picked up as well.
In our past systems, we had 5-6 phones ring with incoming main line calls no matter if they were currently on a call or not and you could put that call on hold and answer the other incoming call. I want our current system to be able to do that to include 2-3 "backup" people who have their own lines.
With RingCentral, the call queue does not allow us to do that. If the receptionist of the queue is on…

Disable GIF in SMS for RC mobile app
We would like for RingCentral to disable the ability for users to be able to post GIFs in text messages on the RC mobile app. It doesn't appear that the GIF function is built into the app (rather, it's a keyboard shortcut option on one's smart phone) but this opens up the possibility for users to send inappropriate images (internally or externally).

I want the ability to ignore calls coming in on a call queue
Our calls all come in on a call queue, so the phone rings everybody in the office. If I know the call isn't for me, I would like to be able to ignore the call. Currently when I click "ignore", it stops ringing for a second, then just starts ringing again. So basically the ignore button does nothing. Can you make it so clicking ignore stops that call from ringing me (or anyone else who clicks ignore)?

Call loop (no warning, when set) must not be possible.Today user A can set a forward to a colleague B who has configured a forward to user A. Which ends in a undefined status (no clue what happens today and how the user can get out of this).If a user may configure that he has to get a clear warning at least.

Enable Call Recording by default when adding new users when Automatic Call Recording is active on the account
It would be great if by default Call Recording is enabled for newly created extensions when Automatic Call Recording is active on the account. At the moment we will need to manually add the newly created extension under Phone System> Auto-Receptionist> General settings>Automatic call recording> Extensions to record.

Status Display on Cell Phone and Desktop App
For both the cell phone and desktop app when you are in the phone section it should display status of internal users whether someone is on the phone, available or not available. Similar to how it does when you are in the message section. It should also display this status on the app if the user is using their app or a desktop phone.

MWI enable in the admin portal
We are in our implementation and when we get phones (Poly VVX specifically) the MWI indicators are disabled by default. Our implementation engineer can enable them, but we cannot through the Admin portal. It would be great if we could just enable them. Otherwise every time we get a new phone in the future it will be a ticket to support to enable.

Recurring Scheduled Faxes
Add an option to set recurring faxes. Users should be able to select multiple dates for scheduled faxes, similar to the functionality in video meeting scheduling, rather than being limited to selecting a single date and time.
