  1. You should block reported user/s who perpetuated cybercrime using your flatform. There must be a way to flag and block the account if it is determined as fraudulent. I am in communication with one right now whom I verified as job recruiter scammer whose aim is obtain personal information and conduct a fraudulent bank transaction

  4. I have a bunch of contacts and it would be great if I could send specific texts to specific people all at once. Right now I have to add everyone individually. Ideally if there was an automation to select the groups and send out automate texts at specific intervals, it would take away all the manual work.

  5. All of our secure softwares ask us to enter a one-time-password (OTP) in order to gain secure access to the portals. As of yesterday, RingCentral stopped supporting the receipt of these text messages. It would be great to be able to receive these text messages so we can access our workplace sites.

  6. Here is an example; user is assigned a +66 number but cannot make call to local +66 number, unless "international dialing" is allowed in that role assigned to the user. If user is assigned a full DL, and an international number is attached to their DL, the role should allow them to call another international number within the same region because it would be considered local (domestic call) to them.   8. Often, calls which don't leave a voicemail message result in 1-3 minutes of an empty, "dead air" message. This uses up incoming toll-free minutes for no benefit. RC should detect there is no message being left and drop the call after 15-20 seconds.

  9. Contact presence should show words like available, unavailable, in a meeting, etc beyond just the colored dot. Currently, when dialing a phone you have to click on the contact name to see the presence status. Also, a gray dot may not be readily understood.

  11. Include options to what happens an invalid key press is used in the IVR menus. Currently, the RingCentral system will attempt to route the user to the closest extension which is often an announcement only extension. If an IVR menu only has 1,2,3 key press options but the dialler presses 4 this should play a message to say that this is an invalid entry not route off somewhere unexpectedly.

  12. We would like to be able to have the option to bypass the announcement for the rollover queue extension. The queue that is being used as the rollover, is a regular queue, and it should have the announcement, however, when the roll over is activated from the main queue the announcement for the second queue is played when the rollover occurs.

  15. Attached I have a text chat with 4 URLs in it. For some reason RC is only parsing one of them as a URL. The rest behave as plain text. Position in the message doesn't seem to matter either, if the .org URL is in the middle of a message it will still be parsed as a URL and RC will create a hyperlink for it. Since .pvt is not a valid TLD but is a valid URL for our company I think it would be better if anything that started with http was parsed for a valid URL and…

  18. currently when I want to call a co-worker from the Android/iOS app I have to either memorize their extension, search their name in our company contacts, or scroll through the company contacts to find them.Adding a Home Screen or even the HUD from the desktop app would allow me to call my most commonly contacted people without taking the extra steps of finding them.

When I log in the following day, open up Ring Central and go to take a call, the client is often bugged out and the call never comes through which If I were one of our customers that just waited on hold for 30 minutes only to find the person that connected can't hear me, it would piss me off. I've come to realize this is because the Application NEVER CLOSES when you press the close button. If I wanted to minimize it I would press the MINIMIZE button.
