  1. Having the ability to - for example - set colors for the different individual tab/screens on the destop app would provide a distinct visual alert to prevent accidentally sending messages to the wrong person/thread. (ie: accidently sending an external text when you meant to send a team message). If, for example, we could set the messages screen to blue and the text screen to red.

  2. Please update your cell phone carriers in the drop down list for sms notifcations. Nextel has been gone for 17 years and Sprint is no longer with us either. I am a T-Mobile user and I cannot add my cell number. I can add it as an email, but then I can't email my corporate email address. I don't understand that no one has complained about this.

Client requests the audio conferencing, the telco conference you have when adding people on the phone as additional participants, to include the phone numbers of the users or the names if phone number known. yt the moment in Jupiter this is not obersevable, you loose the context - refer to the screenshot conference.dIdeally this should behave the same way as within Spartan, see example below spartan conference.

  5. Currently under phone system - phones and devices-common area phones. If you click on filter and select sites there is no search bar.The ability to filter on sites is available under phones and devices- users phones

I think it would be helpful to have the SMS on the desktop app act like the mobile app where the texts from yourself are on the right side and texts from the other person on the left. also having different colors to differentiate your texts or the other person's texts. This makes it easier to read and find messages from yourself or the other person.

Please include RC APP in the Forwarding to Co-worker in call Handling in USERS as this section is only limited to showing the hardphones when an extension is selected since not all users have hardphones, most users only have the RC App to use as the phone for incoming / outgoing so it will be nifty if the app comes up on the selection as well.

  10. Requesting to add 'Assign To' to the menu option in the Number Inventory. Currently the only option listed is Delete, with this, we can delete multiple numbers at once; however, we cannot assign multiple numbers at once. This would be beneficial for managing numbers that have been moved back to the inventory after a user is disabled or deleted.

  13. Please allow pasting image directly into chat without having to create new notes. Just like Microsoft Teams. Creating new notes is obscuring the clarity of the images.

  15. I am transferring calls to an unrecorded queue to take phone credit card payments and other sensitive information. The "Alert Timer in Groups >Call Queues>Queue>Pickup Settings & Members>Settings>Alert Timer has a minimum wait of 5 seconds, which adds an unnecessary 5 seconds to every call that requires this procedure. Please allow for an option that is 0 or 1 second.Thank you.

We use status' to indicate our availability - this is especially beneficial to verify if an employee is working in the office, from home, remote, at a customer, etc etc.However, all outside organizations that I have communicated with can also see this information. It would be beneficial to have a status for individuals outside our organization.

  17. We are looking for a way to save/export the text thread from our Teams chats as it has historical information that we will need to reference outside of the Ring Central desktop app. I would also appreciate an integration from a Third Party that does this task as well.

  18. Our receptionist uses a desk phone with sidecars. We're a small company with only about 70 extensions, so we are able to have a button on the phone or on a sidecar for every extension. It is a multi-step process with this system, from a desk phone, to transfer a call directly to someone's voice mail (not to their extension, but to their voice mail). In our former phone system it was a two-touch process (Transfer to VM button, extension button).   20. Hello! I text/sms people on a daily basis for my job. Sorting through the long list or searching in the search tab can be quite tedious.The feature is already in the "Message" tab. In the Message tab you're able to create a new folder (see Ring1 image or click me), name it whatever you want, move it up and down the list as you please, color code it to your liking and add things in it.
