TEXT MESSAGE SMS NUMBER WE SENT FROM
It's important to see the number where the customer sent the text from. To know which assigned number it came from and to track the customer's information. Please put back the feature on the RC Desktop App and Mobile App. Screenshot was taken 03/26/2024 at that time we can see from what number we were texting from.

Hold Music Volume
Please reduce the volume on the default hold music, or provide a way to control the volume for all users in the admin portal. The default hold music is too loud right now. It should be the same volume as an average person speaking.

let us pick the EXACT time not 15 min increments for business hours
I would like to be able to start my phones at 7:55am, 5 minutes before our normal business hours, but I cannot, I either have to do 7:45am or 8am, and it's annoying I cannot specify a time like 7:58am if I would like.

Call queues can route differently when no agents signed in
It is strange that when no agents are currently signed into a call queue, that the call queue still just places callers on hold until the max wait time has been reached. It would be so much better if we had a routing option for when no agents are logged into or accepting calls from the call queue. The fact that there is no option to escape to voicemail makes this even worse, as the only option they have is to wait for the timer to expire.
Could we please get an option to handle call queue routing differently when…

Team/Group SMS Feature for Clients
We really need this feature so clients can text our "support team, customer service team, etc." and allow several people on our company team be able to view & reply to these messages.
Nextiva just rolled out with this feature last month (Feb. 2024). Let's see it already RingCentral, please! Don't let Nextiva outpace you on features. They've been rolling out really nice back to back features in the past 2 months.

Option to let callers leave voicemail for auto-answered call
A request has been made by one of the users to have an option to let callers have the ability to leave voicemail for auto-answered calls when the user won't be able to attend the call after several seconds.

User Role - User Admin to have Access on All Unassigned Phones
Only the Super Admin can currently access all Unassigned Devices account-wide. When making a custom role or using pre-defined roles such as "User Admin," it can only access phones that were assigned to the group or site where the user is part of.
There should be a specific role that can access and assign all unassigned phones of the entire company.

IVR Menu for each extension
The direct line for each user extension acts as a company number to the clients. If we create a custom rule for each user extension having it route to an IVR Menu when they dial the direct line, the callers get forwarded to the IVR Menu but go back on a loop if the key press they selected routes to the same direct line they dialed. Calls from the IVR Menu should ring directly to the user's phone instead of routing back to the IVR Menu.

add TIME ZONE to call history and voicemail time stamps
It would be helpful if the timestamps listed for incoming calls and voicemails included the TIME ZONE where the calls originate. That way, when I begin making calls to customers at 8:30 am CST, I am not calling someone on the west coast at 6:30 in the morning, nor am I having to use a time zone calculator to try and find a customer who is in an appropriate time zone. RingCentral is promoted as an app that streamlines productivity. This feature would go a long way in helping RingCentral live up to the hype.

Use other international number as caller ID
A feature in which a user on a different user location can use international number as their outbound caller ID number. Let
s say ext 101 is listed in London site and can use other sites number as an option in their RC app`s dropdown list as their caller ID7 votes -
Please put the timestamps back into the texts on the desktop app.
This is necessary for our job in order to track when we text/receive messages to/from our travelers that we work with. This update is unnecessary and is making our whole company struggle. Please put the texts back to how they were.

Request Documentation: Increase Inbox Storage Limit
Currently, the inbox storage limit for voicemails and faxes in RingCentral is set to 200 items before automatic deletion. This limitation may pose challenges for users who require a larger storage capacity to retain important communications. Scheduling multiple call forwarding per site/number
It would be great to have the ability to schedule more than one call forwarding instance at a time for a single site/number.
For example I have a site that just requested 6 separate days worth of forwarding but each day the call goes to a different one of our sites plus the start and end times differ from one another. Would be great to be able to schedule more than one at a time as this would lessen the work load of admins who handle these.

Ability to change the area code when doing outbound
It's best if we do have the option to change the area code when dialing out within the same area/city/state.
