  1. Hi Team,Customer called in today because they are having an issue with the delays before a call is being routed to the Ring Settings Group. The customer has the "Tell caller they're being connected" feature off and only have the "Play music while connecting" turned on. However, the customer said that it's taking a while before the call to be routed to Ring Settings Group.   2. The "Resync" feature that can restart the device through a virtual button is helpful for an IT or an Admin that is not on the site or for tons of devices that needs to be rebooted instead of tediously unplugging and replugging the phone.

  4. If RC is blocking transmission of calls or faxes because it determines that they are robocalls, both the sender and the intended recipient should be made aware that they are not going through. That way, the sender can contact the intended recipient directly if it is a direct or important transmission, and the intended recipient has the opportunity to "white list" the number. Example: I am a medical doctor and a laboratory has been blocked from sending me faxes, which may actually be important patient results!

A user of ours asked if there is a way to turn off the part in Ring Central Max that shows users how many calls they have taken from queue, due to said users not taking calls after they hit their monthly quota. Would like a way to either block users from seeing this or turning it off altogether.

    • customer mentioned would like to know if we can set up an ivr menu that will let the user listen to their vm messages by dialing the IVR menu and should prompt them to dial the extension number that they would like to listen to the voicemail message. -customer prefers this type of set up rather than dialing the main phone number and extension number * then pin.

  6. External guests are being blocked or automatically disabled after creating free accounts for RingCentral Messaging using either the browser version or the desktop app. Can't add external guest users to our contacts who are using a free account nor they can't use RingCentral Messaging at all.

  9. ...wish to edit the routing every time one of the users logs in or out of the phone.. we have a physical phone that is configured as a 'Hot Desk' phone. With that, we have 2 users that login and logout of the phone. Well, every time they login or logout, the programming of the call routing is lost for the user anytime they logout.   10. Ring groups can currently ring our deskphones and we can add external cell phones for staff away from the desk. Since we are becoming mobile we are transitioning away from desk phones. We would like the desktop and mobile app to take calls. We need the mobile app and desktop since we need to use the site number for caller ID to place calls.My example we have a ring group 3065 created in our account the first group is the desk phones that always ring. When an Admin is in the process of creating an ext. user, the Admin only sees the option to tick/untick the "Publish in Company Directory" for 1) User, 2) Contact phone, 3) Mobile phone; there's no option for "Phone Numbers". The Admin will have to finish creating the user extension then go to Phone System > Phone numbers > All numbers > Search for the TN > Under Company Directory Settings > Publish in Company Directory to "untick" the DID from the Company Directory.   15. Our company uses a private team to share ideas about work and communicate to each other. Ideas or points are shared - it would be very help full if a search feature were added to find these items. Sometimes these points are not pinned so searching back days or months is very difficult. Another idea would be add a search feature by date. So if an idea or example was addressed at a particular time then it would found easier. IE - tax information around tax deadline in April.

  19. current behavior: Admin Portal for Billing Admin and Custom Admin does not have access to the Billing Overview. Visibility is only available for Super Admin Expected behavior: To be able to have access to Billing Overview with Billing admin or Custom Roles.
