  2. Customer is using the new Group voicemail capability but it is currently only available on the user level. Customer has asked that this capability be added to call queues so that multiple users can be co-recipients to the voicemail of the queue.

  6. As an owner, I would not want my salespeople to have the ability to delete a call. Especially, if they are rude to a customer. A user should not be allowed to delete a recording.

  7. Status dots next to the Users names are too small and Users that are color blind are having a hard time, is there a way to make Users status appear under their name. See attachment. Thanks

  9. Allow text messages sent to the same company number that the call queue is answering to be answered by any user in that call queue. Allow them to send messages from the company number and have a unified spot so that multiple users can respond. As our CSRs go off and on shift they should be able to pick up a text thread with a customer.

    SMS for Call Queues is coming-- as in if a text is sent to a call queue number, there will be an inbox available for one agent to respond to those SMS.


    I know the core of this request is to have a shared SMS inbox where multiple people can send and receive SMS from the inbox. Our product teams are aware of this ask, but I do not have more information about if/when this segment of the ask is coming.

  12. More details here.The RingCentral Glip app has a handy feature called 'Calendar Presence'. My understanding of this is that any calendar that is associated with the relevant calendar (in my case, a Google Calendar) would be synced to indicate a 'busy' ('in a meeting') status.There are various use cases of this:When I create a meeting directly on my calendar to 'block off' time to focus on various work projects.   14. We have DIDs assigned as site numbers, and these represent the main line number for the given site/branch. Users within our company would like to be able to easily look up a branch and call the main line number. I would be happy enough if I could just manually add entries to the Company Directory. I'd like these entries to appear when searcing within the GLIP, or when using a physical desk phone.

  16. In the RingCentral Classic (GLIP) app, there existed a plethora of file upload sources, not the least of which was the widely-used OneDrive platform. The new RingCentral app lacks these options. It only has the ability to attach files from the local computer, or Google Drive which is not very commonly used in enterprise environments.Please restore the ablity to upload files from OneDrive.

  17. I would like to see a feature on all Ring Central Deskphones, to integrate their DND status with all other agents/ representatives in the company. We can see when they are on a call, or placed a call on hold, but cannot see if they are on DND. This would alleviate a lot of headaches for our team, if they could see if someone is available or not... This is a cloud based system. It needs to be able to integrate with all deskphones.

  18. When you call to leave a voicemail for another user, and listen to the message on your Polycom desk phone, it announces who the voicemail is from using a computer generated computer. I've been told there is no way to currently change this. We've done a custom recording for the "Record User Name" function in the users profile, but this doesn't affect the name announced when leaving a voicemail.

  19. It is not possible right now to send a photo to a five digit number, it must be a full number. This makes it very difficult when traveling

  20. When scheduling in google calendars, there is an option for a RingCentral Video Meeting Add-on. However, if one wants to schedule a meeting without video, there is no option for just adding a Conference call, which there should be instead of entering it manually.
