  1. I've noticed that when not using RC but logged in (running in the background idle) it will change the status for users from a green dot to a gray dot (offline). Even though users are available for a call. Fellow coworkers think the user is offline when in reality they are not. This behavior is counterintuitive- It seems to me that a new idle status would work as opposed to showing user offline. Or maintain current status of available

  2. There is a call queue option that can be added from Users that only works by using the RingCentral Phone App. It would be great if this worked also with MVP.

  3. Admin would like to provide the ability for members of a call queue to view pending calls to that queue. Users who are members of queues are unable to see calls pending in their queue while on a queue call.

  4. -Supported so far are only list of pure email mail addresses separated with ';'.-For simple creation it should be possible to create lists in a format
    supported by
    email-systems like Outlook (including display names + spaces + <email>) , too.

  8. I will check the user extension instead and from there i will see on which queue the extension is in. Coz right now we have 100 queues, And its troublesome to check all 100 queues just to see which queue a specific extension is missing.

  9. I tried to bulk create my 90+ users, but it gave me an error message that said their "Emergency Address doesn't match any of company emergency response locations." I asked through chat, but there isn't a way to bulk create 911 locations, so I have to do them individually. It would be nice if we could bulk create them since the data is already required on the bulk user update form. Or, allow them to be created through the bulk user update.

It's great that the HUD was added to the RingCentral desktop app however, the only thing for us that it seems to be lacking is the ability to adjust the layout of the pop out window for the HUD. We still use the RingCentral Phone app because the pop out HUD view allows me to customize my HUD window more than the HUD in the RC app. In the RC app I can't get everyone to appear on the same size window like I had with the RC Phone app. Please see attached screenshots

  12. In the previous version of Glip/RingCentral App, when you would view all of the tasks, it would organize them by the due time (if there was a due time) and show the due time clearly. This does not happen in the new app. It's caused lots of late appointments for us :(

I am the primary administrator for our company phone system that includes approximately 2,500 employees, each with a unique phone number.Managing Caller IDs is laborious because each employee has 9 or more values that have to be updated (Phone, RingOut from Web, RingMe, Call Flip, Fax Number, Mobile App, Additional Desktop App, Common Phone, and Alternate Call ID). I understand that different companies and types of companies have legitimate needs to have unique values for each type, BUT, it would be really nice if you could add some kind of "Update All" or "Apply to All" button that would push…

  14. My company has about 2,500 Polycom VVX 601 phones, all equipped with a Polycom video camera for P2P video calls. Polycom is no longer making the VVX series phones, so we're unable to get new phones for new employees, or replacements for broken phones, so we're starting to purchase CCX series phones.Currently, you cannot make a video call between a VVX and a CCX phone.   15. Both in the RC desktop app and the browser based app if the window is resized the messages panel (favorites, direct messages) collapses unless the window is resized to be larger.It would be nice to have a toggle option to disable this collapsing when resized.

Hello RC, thanks for offering this platform.I would like to suggest a 'threshold' for the voicemail-to-email fowarding feature, so that short messages with no actual voicemail are not fowarded.We receive emails when callers do not leave a voicemail (for example, they record for 1 to 3 seconds).It would be nice if the forwarding ignored, or had the option to ignore, voicemails that are clearly too short to contain a message.Thanks for the consideration!

We have an Employee line that can't be heard unless near the phoneThis line rings a single phone that often goes unnoticed by our day shift crew and our night shift crew due to loud machinery or not being near the phone. We would like to be able to have our overhead paging system ring in addition to this phone during specific hours, to grab our employees attention at night or during the day which ever hours we set this line up for.I was assured during testing that this could have been achieved prior to signing up with Ring Central.

We have been told it is not within the system parameters for my phone app to "know" that someone else in the office has answered a phone call, thereby creating a HUGE Missed Call list in my App. I would like to suggest adding a feature to allow us to delete my entire Missed Call History at one time, like it is possible to delete All Call History.
