  1. Managing the holiday hours for our locations requires us to manually enter in a custom answering rule for each company holiday for each location. For us that is over 600 manual entries and counting that need to be made each year. This could easily be eliminated by having a master holiday setting that could be applied to lines, queues, or ring groups in the account.   2. This idea is a combination of other ideas around improving RingCentral's RingEX Audit Trail feature.

    Improve logging for all items that are added, moved, changed or amended within the Admin Portal.

  3. We need an ability to turn off the announcement on the "AI notes" as its taking a few seconds before I can answer the call

    Hi everyone, you are now able to customize the announcement played during the call. Learn where in the Admin portal to update here.


    While not the ability to completely turn off the announcement, this customization allows for different companies to take into account their unique compliance needs. If a disclosure is not needed, a silent recording could be uploaded as a workaround.

  4. Tough to get users to take the time to upload and change their profile pictures. It would be great for admins to be able to use existing employee pictures (I.E. from Id badges/access cards) and update them globally. Even BETTER it would be great to be able to have Azure/Office365 pictures transfer over if an existing SSO conduit exists.

  6. We have multiple phone numbers that all ring on the main line. It would be useful if we could have different ring tones to differentiate which number a caller used to contact us. (We are opening a branch office but keeping our Admin centralized.) This would be incredibly useful so that we know which service branch is being called.

  7. We have noticed that Non-Super Admin users can elevate themselves to "Super Admin." This could potentially cause security issues and business impact.Non-Super Admins should not be able to change their role to a “Super Admin” or remove the SA role from other accounts.Scenario: We have our Non-Super admins that have “User Management” under their role, they need this to be able to choose a different role for MACD (move,add,change,delete) requests but we don’t want them to have the ability to change their own permission to “super admin.” Only another “super admin” should have the ability to change someone else to…

  8. We use handsets and also link to our CRM Pipedrive. We have 3 handsets each with their own user/extension. All phones are on simultaneous ring. If someone else picks up the phone, my handset and CRM show that I missed a call. It'd be great if we had to ability to turn off missed call tagging. Even if we miss a call it rolls over to our answering service so the missed call tagging just creates confusion and frustration that I have to clear the notifications on my handset and CRM everytime someone calls.

Have an additional read-only tab in the User Settings section called "Memberships", broken down into all types of Group, e.g. Queues, Call Pickup, Park Locations etc, that lists out which the user belongs to. This would save the admin(s) from clicking through each Queue in turn to find all members, much like in the Custom Role overview, where all user assigned the Role can be viewed.

  11. When downloading SMS logs, the user is only getting the metadata. It would be very helpful if the content of the SMS can also being included in the data being downloaded from the logs. I understand that it is available when backing the data up with Archiver. But not all account has the feature.

  12. As a super admin we should have access to all users passwords without having to change their password or pin! As owners of the business and phone account we shouldn't have to go through this to protect ourselves from suspicious activity from employees! You are putting us at risk without this ability! I call technical support and all they tell me is to change the pin or password but even if I do that the person assigned to that extension gets an automatic email and voicemail from Ringcentral that their setting has been changed or modified! That sucks.

  15. Currently, you can only configure certain Dial-By Name Directory settings under the Main Site General Settings. It would be helpful to be able to have a separate Dial-By-Name Directory setting menu for each site. For example, currently, you can only choose to search by First Name or Last Name at a company-wide level. We would like to be able to change each of these settings to fit our sites' needs (one site might want to search by first name, one by last name).

  16. The Super Admin account, as well as other accounts granted this needed permission, should be able to view the messages on any user/line. The lack of this ability causes some headaches and seems obvious since the admin can always change the password for that user, then view messages. That solution causes headache for the admin and user.
