  1. We use paging groups to unlock doors in the building. We have SIP relays connected to the doors. If a visitor calls from the entrance, once we disconnect the intercom, we dial *84 and then 14 to unlock the lobby door. If we could have the paging groups in the RC app, we could click the paging group and unlock the door from either the desktop or mobile app. Paging groups don't show up in the new software, but they did in the legacy software?

  3. My team supports a variety of consumer calls for different sides of our business. This means calls come in on multiple call queues. Currently, a user can only either be available or unavailable to accept calls. I'd prefer they have the opportunity to only accept calls from a specific call queue at one time vs. being available on both call queues.

  4. HiPlease can we add the ability to hide the Hide Main Company Number. This number is not used within the organisation and causes a great deal of confusion for our users when this number is inadvertently selected.We need to keep the ability to change outbound identity - and it seems strange that RC do not allow us to hide what appears to be a legacy feature.Thanks for your consideration.

  5. There is a current limit when sending SMS per attempt, it would be better to increase the characters per SMS attempt for the convenience of our users.

  7. Scheduling work hours is great so that work calls don't come through the mobile app after hours, the problem is that other notifications such as voicemail do make it through. Adding a customizable option to turn off notifications after hours when setting work hours would allow us to ensure that we are not interrupted by work when we are not on the clock. We could go back to enjoying our evenings and weekends again!

The old RingCentral softphone app had a feature where you could see other numbers entered into the user profile in RingCentral when you searched for someone in the phone app. This allowed for you to put in Mobile numbers along with RingCentral numbers and see those in searching the public address list within the app. The new RingCentral app does not do the same. I created a video and will attach it to better explain what I am talking about.

The status feature (Available, On a Call, In a Meeting, DND, etc.) is a great feature but currently only shows in the messaging section and when you open a contacts profile in the RingCentral desktop app.This makes it essentially useless for us as our main use of the RingCentral app is for making/receiving voice calls.I am requesting that the status be made visible in the following locations in the RingCentral app:Main searchBrowsing contacts list (without opening profile)Searching contacts in DialerSearching contacts when transferring or conferencing a callMost importantly, we need to be able to see this status when transferring calls…

  11. GIFs tend to be a major form of communication these days. GIFs are possible in team messaging, but not in SMS texting as far as i can see.

  12. The Email Digest that gets sent when we used to miss a chat message would display the chat message contents in the email. This was recently changed. Now their is only a Reply fuction but I have no idea what I am replying to.Having this feature helps when we are out of office or in meetings and need to respond.We do not want to install RC apps on our personal cell phones.

  14. when placing an outbound call, show the name of the person I’m trying to call BEFORE hitting the call button. This way I can tell if I’ve dialed correctly.

  15. In our buildings we have a handful of full user phones but most are shared house phones using limited extensions. In an emergency it would be helpful to be able to call a paging group from a limited extension, At present Ring does not allow this.

Add option for admins to disable or hide the "All Employees" default Team.Many of us are using the new "Include User in Company Directory" to hide extensions and contacts that we don't want users to see or to accidentally send messages or call. But there is a new default "All Employees" Team available under contacts by all users in both the web and mobile RC apps. We need the admin option to disable this or make it only available to specific users, user groups, sites, etc.

  17. User is on an active call either from direct or via call queue.The users receives another call while they are still on the phone. Currently the 2nd call is ringing and interrupting the user who is on the other line. The 2nd call should go directly to voicemail without ringing the user.

  18. In the app for messaging, could the message we sent be on the right side of the screen like in Teams, and the other members messages be on the left side? It's so hard to read right now with everything on the left side.

  20. It would be helpful if the welcome E-Mail for a new user could be sent more than 48 hours in advance. Under the current system, the user has to respond quite quickly and may not be able to if traveling. The 48 hour limit also means that we cannot send these on Fridays unless we know that the user will respond right away.
