Audit trail should have some more details. Currently, when an action, such as do not disturb is changed, it identifies the source as the user. It would be extremely helpful in diagnosing issues to have the source be the specific app/device of the user to properly identify the trigger.
For Example, if DND is set, I want to know if the DND was set on the phone, in the app, or via Teams Presence Sync. Currently I just know the user. This would also help address the concerns in idea 48034967

When looking at audit trail, we need to see more accurate posting for people setting to DND, locking the computer, logging out of queues etc. Currently the only entry is called "user set DND to Off" or "On

We are a company that makes many changes on the properties of the forwarding for our extension and it would be helpful if we can recall changes that is up to 1 year on the audit trail

Agree, I just discovered one of my templates was changed and confirmed with support there is no way to tell when it was changed and who did it. All I can see is successful application of the template. In this case I found the issue because someone had changed the template to where it did not overwrite any settings, and I was thus unable to apply it. I have templates for each of my offices that overwrite: caller ID, hold messaging, e-911 address, and presence. These are critical to our phone operations. If someone was changing settings in there for any reason whether malicious or careless, I don't really have any way to know.

This seems very dangerous to me, not having an audit trail. A bad actor can, at will, make any changes to any template, then an innocent person using that template can cripple an organization and not know it. The likelihood is low I admit but it's not zero. The innocent then gets blamed because they are on the audit trail and the bad actor is not implicated in any way. This is a security hole and should not be an idea or suggestion that might or might not get implemented. Should be part of ISO9000 / HITRUST, IMOI’d even contemplate initiating an email notification at the modification of any template to the primary account 101. Maybe a checkbox if the customer wants it.

Currently, we use the Teams Embedded app and have presence sync turned on. While that feature works pretty well, it's not a great practice that the presense sync is tied to my admin account. If I were to leave the company, or my account were to get disabled for any reason, it would break the integration.Would prefer to use a shared secret or certificate or some other authentication mechanism.ALSO... If you look through the audit trail in RingCentral, it's full of entries for every time someone's status changes in Teams. Why is this tied to my admin account? Couldn't RC automatically tie it to the super admin account, or just not tie it to any account at all in the audit trail?

Admin User would like to have the capability to view the login information such as email address that his user utilizes for logging in to the RC platform whether its on the RC app or service portal

For RingCentral MVP Admins to view changes done in each section of the Administration setting for Messaging; especially the Manage data retention policy.

If it is signed in to the app, we cannot see it on the audit trail, but if it is accessed on the web portal, it should be showing in the audit trail. It will not show on the audit trail if it is a successful sign in the RingCentral desktop/web app.

Changes made to the call log delivery reports both on user and admin level should be reflected in Audit Trail to as with other changes.

I hope we can extend the Audit Trail Data Retention for tracking purposes for at least a year or so to see all changes have been made to the account.

Audit Trail Should Include User Presence Settings ChangesCertain functions on the entire presence tab most especially the permissions tab is important to be tracked to know who made the changes. This disallows user to communicate with each other though presence/dss keys/HUD and affects productivity and efficiency of the phone system.

Requested enhancement to the audit trail. Normally when you change the call recording options for an extension, the change gets tied to the company profile, not the user. If you were to filter the audit trail to just those entries that are related to the extension in question, the change to the recording option would not show up. however, if you search for the extension number in the general search field it does show. Our client is looking for the change to the recording setting to show when searching in the first condition to create a more detailed log of user activity.

Since there are a lot of changes logged in the audit trail, past changes logged are getting overridden by new changes. Submitting this on behalf of the customer so they can still get/access the changes made on the account, even if it is done past 180 days or beyond 10,000 records.
