  1. Support for integration between RingCentral presence status and a physical “busy light” device that can be mounted on a wall, desk, or doorway.

    Description:
    The requested feature would allow RingCentral users status to control an external busy light indicator:

    Red light when the user is busy, on a call, or in a meeting

    Green light when the user is available

    (Optional) Additional colors or states for Do Not Disturb, Away, or Ringing

  3. It will be better if there is a shared call logs for members of call queues, so we can check if a member of a call queue already performed an outbound call for a call that was tagged as missed.

  4. For a short time, we had the ability to check a box, that appended a message with verbiage that added the OPT OUT wording (see attachment). That feature is now gone. Please bring it back! One of the most helpful SMS things I've seen and used! Please bring it back ASAP.

  6. When a call is received in a simultaneous queue, if a user presses "Reject," the call is re-called 5 seconds later. This happens every time they press "Reject."

    The solutions offered by Tech Support are not suitable.

  8. Allow Admins to setup Outbound Dialing restrictions for users to limit to specific Area Codes or Phone numbers. The current ability to only have standard or international will not fit what is needed to be able to restrict users of the phone system for local calling within a specific area code or codes dependent on user.

  14. Are we able to add a feature to allow user to find the "related" chats with a contact? E.g. in the contact's main chat page.

    Most of the time, if I talked with a contact in a group chat (or team), when sometimes back I want to find the chat, it is hard to search out. (I event don't have the group name if it is not a team chat). It is very painful, I can only search in @metions sometimes to get it with luck

    This is very usful when user has many many group chats.

  18. RingCentral Dashboard to Show local or public IP and MAC address of desk phone

    We're trying to track down where some phones are located as well as better maintain our active fleet of phones. There is significant information like IP and MAC address that I see available for each device when using other VoIP providers but not in RingCentral. Is this a feature for specific hardware not not supported?

    I am aware of how to find the IP and MAC addresses on the phones
    themselves, what I am looking for is this information within the
    RingCentral dashboard, similar to Zoom…

  19. Currently, after recent updates, users assigned to a custom role must have the “Call Handling” permission enabled to update their voicemail greetings. However, some customers require that agents can update voicemail greetings without having the ability to modify call handling rules, which is not possible under the current setup.

    Request is to provide an option or enhancement that allows users to update voicemail greetings independently, without needing the broader “Call Handling” permission, ensuring better role-based access control and user flexibility.
