Asking to add a 2-factor authentication feature for Telus Business Connect Accounts.Problem: Customer is not being asked to check the email for authentication even if the Account Access Confirmation feature is on.Steps:Access Admin Web internally and set Account Access Confirmation to Always RequiredStatus still show Disabled Permanently.Tested with Jeff and still able to log in to the Voice Manager with no 2nd factor authentication.Justification: Account Security

  2. Some customers are unaware that they are under a contract or the contract was auto-renewed. Having the soft copy or documentation in the Admin Portal will be helpful to both the customer and RingCentral support.

  4. So my company uses Tasks in various Teams to keep track of work that needs to be done. When selecting a specific Task, the most important information is usually in the Task Replies, but the replies are all shown on the right side of the screen with only like 35 characters to a line. When these task replies are anything but very short blurbs (as they often are in our workflow), it becomes difficult to try to read them in this menu and I have to resort to looking at the Team view that will contain every reply to every…

  6. have an option on admin portal>Phone System>Common Area Phone to download a list of all of the phones. Also to have an option on Limited extensions group to download the information and have a print out of it.

  8. Yealink has a new series of DECT headsets, with a LCD screen control interface, great microphone noise processing technology, and overall an amazing product. They are designed for mobile+softphone. https://www.yealink.com/product/headset-wh66Unfortunately, Ringcentral only supports Jabra/Poly headsets. I much prefer this product over what Jabra / Poly are producing. Given Ringcentral already supports many Yealink products, I would encourage you to include this headset, it's a winner.Lawrence

  9. I love the after hours feature for phone calls but it would also be super helpful if there was an after hours text option. So if a customer texts you after hours, they get a autoresponse saying your office is closed, ect.

  11. We assemble freelance writers from all over the world into our RC groups. All of the writers are able to see all of the other writers. It would be great if the email accounts were not visible and someone would have to message them in RC which would be easier to catch.

  12. The RC App on Android has its own Bluetooth switcher that is separate from the Android system Bluetooth Switcher. When switching from handset to Bluetooth, this requires fiddling with both settings in order to connect the Bluetooth headset.Why can't the RC App just use the Native Bluetooth switching tool on Android?

  13. Customer does not want automatic call recording prompt to play when transferring or parking calls. By design, we treat each leg of the call individually which is why the recording prompt plays when calls are transferred or picked back up from a park location. Ideally, with this feature this wouldn't happen when the call was already being recorded on the first leg so that the caller does not have to hear the prompt play again whenever transferred.

The majority of ACO customers are coming from an Avaya IP Office system, that is feature rich and very flexible, most requests we can overcome on ACO, but the ability to login / logout from Call Queues via Avaya J100 Series phones is one that we cannot overcome. For Rotating Queue Call Handling, make the Queue member agent state change from Available to Busy if presented calls are refused - this will stop subsequent calls being presented to an agent who has forgotten to put themself on Busy state when they are on holiday/meeting/lunch. This will massively improve the call handling rate for this type of Queue.
