  1. I seem to get lost in the custom rules. Although I manage in the end, it would be much nicer to just pick multiple different days of the year and say "these are bank holidays / business holidays, do this with the phones..." etc. Rather than add multiple different custom rules. It may be the way we have our queues but right now it is very confusing to do, and to have a separate place solely for holidays each year means we wont forget to have them in place

  2. What is going on RingCentral ??????Did you sell our number to Spammers????We are getting daily calls from Spam numbers. This is getting ridiculous. If this does not stop we will Cancel our service. Please help & stop Spam calls from calling our toll number. ASAP

  3. Enable customers to self-serve the addition of TAS Bypass Numbers in Service Web. When a Direct Number is added to a user, present a checkbox to allow them to select the number to be conditioned for TAS Bypass. The system would then auto-provision (condition) the number. The system/portal should also visibly indicate which numbers they have conditioned for TAS Bypass.

  5. This would let incoming clients and prospective client know that I'm simply on the other line and not out of the office. I'd like to see an option in the custom rules for greetings section to select a specific "I'm currently on the phone" greeting if I am on an existing RingCentral call when someone else calls in.

  6. The contacts list columns are not customizable. The current design is limited to display contacts by first and last name, only, with phone number displaying below the name. I'd like the ability to customize the view so that I could display by company name with company representative's first and last name also displaying as well as phone number. For those of us whose clients are other businesses (e.g., I have a bookkeeping service that caters to small businesses), this is a better way to view the contact list. My workaround for this limitation is that I place the business name…

  9. We are using Ring Central Teams for implementations. Many tasks stay the same and we just need to alter due dates. Would love to be able to export a list of tasks from one ring central team chat, modify dates and then import into a new ring central chat team. Right now I have to enter each task manually over and over again for each implementation we do.

  11. Could I ask for a feature request? The presence functionality is only really of any use if it actually shows the status of a user's line all of the time, not just if they received a call directly. At the moment it seems that if an extension is ringing as part of a ring group this is not shown in the presence status and perhaps more importantly, if the call has been answered by a member of a ring group their extension does not show as in use - this does not allow the visibility that presence is required for.

  12. RC app users on any platform should be provided basic steps to try resolving problems.Or a pop up that will allow the users to know what could have caused the problem on the app.Ex. 1. Lost internet connection, possible troubleshooting Step is to restart/reboot the device2. App unresponsive or have stopped working, possible issues with the CPU usage, troubleshooting step close the app and all other application running on the device.

  13. The hold music between two RingCentral parties uses the settings for the person called, not the party that places the cold on hold. This is bug as it doesn't respect the settings of the party placing the call on hold.

  14. Zoom, gotomeetings and RC Meetings allow users to hit "Join" button from the RC App but it only gives Team meetings the option to Dial in.It would be great to be able to launch teams meetings with Video Meetings tab from our synced calendar .

  16. We are using a Call Queue for our IT Department Helpdesk. Right now, that contact doesn't show up as a company contact. On mobile, it shows up under Others, but that isn't really isn't ideal. I'd like to request having the option to include a Call Queue as a company contact. There should be something like a toggle switch in the settings of the Queue that would allow us to see this or not.

  17. The previous app version did not have this and the ability to quickly merge calls was easy and convenient and important to my business. The new step adding the prompt asking to announce yourself to a call I've already started and made the call to a specific individual is unnecessary and frustrating as the user and the party joining the call. I understand this option for a conference call where you have multiple people joining the call but that's why there's a Conference Call number to dial in.

  18. Josh is using Canon Webcam Utility for RingCentral for RingCentral Desktop app but it doesn't recognized. If you could add Canon Webcam Utility as recommended webcam for RingCentral Desktop app that would really help our clients.

  19. On my Cisco 8861, I am unable to program the softkeys to dial out to any number outside of a ringcentral extension assigned to us. If I want to program a speed dial to a customer, or assign an intercom to an extension as a speedial(blf key) it is currently not allowed. I am not sure why a simple feature like this is not allowed on Ring Central. It would make business operations so much easier to utilize the 5 soft keys that are lying dormant to be able to dial out to our customers, etc.
