  1. I see where we can create a "team" in the contacts section, which allows you to invite members from work. What about the ability to create groups for just your regular contacts? I'm a recruiter and it'd be handy to have my candidates listed under groups such as "On assignment" or even by skills like "machine operators" or "warehouse workers".

  2. It would have been best if they can received an email sooner for their users that their apps are outdated and needs an update. Than they only 24 hours to fix it.

  3. Please add the special number feature to the new RC PC application. It works with the old RC PC app, but the prefix is missing in the new app. This is the feature: Add a special number to the beginning or end of the incoming caller ID to help identify the reason for the call.

  5. If the phone line is busy, instead of manually placing clients on hold, the system will automatically put the new call on hold and inform them that we are currently assisting other clients.

  6. Suggestion

    At the moment you can search a team instant message thread by words, poster or team but there is no way for you to search and filter by a date or date 'range'

    Reason

    Many times a members of a chat has mentioned in passing occurrences of an issue that much later I need to pull together to a report. I know the dates or date ranges but it is too hard to guess the exact wording of their post and searching by user/poster returns too many results (most not relevant).

    I need a way to select all posts…

  10. I used to be able to do it. I would set up how many times it could ring before it forwarded. If I set it for 7 rings, the faxes would go through before the call was forwarded.

  15. What is Working;

    If someone calls my direct number and presses "0" while in voicemail, they are automatically routed back to the site extension where I am currently a member.

    Here is how we want the mapping set up:
    Test Call Queue Ext. 123 - the "0" press in voicemail should route to the specied Call Queue Extension

  16. Usually if a call is parked to a specific parking group and no one answers, it will not ring the other user that is part of the group - light on the presence will just lit up.

  18. Currently if an SMS is sent out for 911 Notifications and someone responds to that notification, the communication is only sent to the person who dialed 911.

    This causes many unneeded texts going back and forth because the others receiving the 911 SMS Notification are not aware that it has already been responded to.

    We need a way for these notifications to be sent out in a group so that everyone receiving the SMS notifications can see the responses from others in that group text and not respond when not needed.

  19. Today students at Columbia University can sign up for a RingCentral account using their Columbia.edu email. They are required to create a temporary password before they are allowed to sing in using the SSO credentials. Columbia is asking to remove the step requiring a temporary password.

  20. It would be nice to have the ability to set up a phone tree where we can have incoming calls ring 2 different users for 4 rings then once they don't answer it goes to a different 2 users for 4 rings, then auto attendant.
