  1. This would allow us to launch external applications at the time of incoming call in the same way that we do when using the Phone app. Things like screen pops with additional information from our CRM can be initiated with this functionality.

  2. In New RC, it appears there is not a way to duplicate / copy a team. This feature is widely and heavily used within our org. We have a template team with members and tasks for each project, and this team is duplicated every time a new project lands. This is used a significant number of times a day/week, and incredibly critical to our org. needs.Without this feature, the RC app is very useless to us in terms of internal project and time management.

  4. When I hover over a message the time stamp is covered up on app when using PC. This makes it difficult to find messages at particular date/time when scrolling through a filtered search.

  5. When I have to explain to management why there was a Ring Central outage or issue, it's helpful to refer to the status updates on your service status page. When you engineers post a "resolved" update, then remove all the statuses for the issue 5 minutes later, as happened today, this is not helpful. You need an outage history and also Report of Resolution archive.

  6. The Kindle Fire is a low cost widely available android tablet. Many people, including me use these as inexpensive work platforms for email and phone. The old phone app version used to work just fine on the kindle fire, it would be helpful for me and others if the new phone app was backported to allow it to run on these devices.

Developers please try to solve the problem as it is not possible to answer multiple phone calls in the new Ring central app, however it is possible to do so in the old phone app, For example if we log into the old phone app the one with the phone on it , we can receive and manage multiple phone calls and put on hold and transfer and take another phone call just like on any physicals phone with multiple lines, and in the admin portal under phone system, Phones and devices, user phones, we are all showing green .…

  8. When recording calls, the warning message that tells the caller the call is being recorded is currently only in English. A user group would like to be able to have the recording in Spanish and/or Spanish & English combo announcement. Would also like this to be selectable on the user/group basis and not a global selection.

  9. On the phone APP (same APP for google chrome laptop), we are unable to check the status of other contacts and before I call someone, I would like to check and see if they are on a phone call

  13. Presently people can jump in and out of the call queue. Sometimes some users forget to turn it back on. We need a way for managers to be able to monitor who is in and out of the call queue to ensure that everyone is able to process incoming calls.

  14. At the moment, BT's BT Cloud Work Phone, developed by Ring Central, doesn't have a built in sound equaliser unlike many soft phones. Speaking to BT they say that the software doesn't have the ability 'yet' but couldn't tell me if this meant it was on it's way. They were a little vague.

When creating accounts individually or in bulk, please change the default call handling to 4 rings / 20 sec on desktop and mobile apps and/or change slider for "Always ring for at least 30 seconds before forwarding". This is primarily needed to avoid missed calls. No one would ever set their phone to ring for 1 ring / 5 seconds.

Being able to change the default prefix for extensions, right now, extensions are based of what numerical prefix was initially chosen, IE if your first extension was 605999, subsequint extensions are 60XXXX with no ability to change the prefix. We would like the ability to change the default prefix, and it would be extra nice if it could be based off of Location code. IE US users are set to prefix 20XXXX, Canada is set to 30XXXX, etc.

  20. If you want to use Microsoft outlook (not outlook 365), the scheduler keeps defaulting to "meeting info" . This happens in particular, when you do not have Outlook 365 or Google calendar conduit/mangaged calendar intergated. This causes for a bad user experience having to always change the defualt setting.
